    With Jake shooting and handling the ball the way he does, Meyers might want to consider learning how to play under the basket. Just a thought.

    Between Jake's first 8 minutes of play, and Turner's first 4 games (these are legit sample sizes, right?), this just bolsters my opinion that Olshey is master of the draft, and doofus of Free Agency. :)

    So you are saying if Terry/Neil feels confident that Jake can start at SF, then it frees up our other players to trade? Can't say it has not crossed my mind.

    During his rookie year, it took Pat Connaughton until March to reach 17 cumulative points scored.

    It took Jake Layman 8 minutes. He's like Chuck Norris with 3-point range.

    im comfortable giving him some burn. work him in for 5 minutes some where and see how he does. can take away from crabbe or turner since both are playing like they should be getting layman's salary
