interesting fact from a BE writer: "Scoring 42 points on 18 shots will win your team a lot of games. To put those numbers in perspective, the entire starting lineup around Lillard scored 49 points on 41 shots. They scored 1.2 points per shot; he scored 2.3 points per shot."

Wait, you're telling me 49 points on 41 shots in a win is bad?

I got blasted by the Westbrook fanboys because I dared to criticize his "historic" performance when he scored 51 on 44 shots.

Apparently, when on guy does it he's an MVP candidate, but when a group of players do it, they suck.

Not sure CJs ego would dig that too much, despite what he might say publicly.

One thing I noticed about the game, Wesley looks like a completely different player. Not just the hair and the mobility, he looks like he's a fringe player.

Sad, hopefully it was just one game.

With Bogut and Dirk out, and the fact that everyone else on that roster either sucks, is AARP eligible, or both, they are relying on Wes to do way too much.

He's always been a role player, but now he's a role player coming back from a rupture Achilles's that makes $17 million/year. Cuban fucked himself, with some help from DeAndre Jordan, on that contract. If Jordan wouldn't have reneged on signing with DAL, Wes would only be making something like $12/year.

I tend to stay out of the game threads while watching the game.

Too ridiculous and too distracting. But they are funny to read after the game is over.

I am not sure how much that would accomplish. I mean isn't that his role now? He comes off the bench with the 2nd unit. The only difference is that he has already played....and theoretically a little more warmed up. I get that the 2nd unit is underperforming right now, but I am not sure whether CJ starting or not really makes a difference for that particular purpose.

Exactly. It's not like starting CJ means that he and Lillard end up on the bench at the same time.. One of them is always on the floor.

It's a classic forum meltdown bro. Everyone has to play their part.

For real though, I've been more frustrated with the runs we've given up this year than anything else last year. It just shouldn't happen and it's like a switch is flipped.

I'm not saying we should blow it up or anything, but I do get pessimistic in game threads when we start shitting the bed. Some people stay optimistic, some don't. People handle things differently. Can't really fault them too much.

As some of you know, I don't participate in the game threads, till AFTER the game. I always enjoy the freak shows that they are. Last night did I see somebody drop some N Bombs in here?

Wow. Just caught myself up too. Lmao. And again reminded myself of why I watch the games in peace... well relative peace.. lol

We did give up a lead, but it sure looked like we were still trying to focused and give maximum effort, when in times past, we looked way more lost. Dallas also made some good shots in that run.

I still think this was the best 48 minutes of play ive seen fro mthis team this season and if you look at the games from an eyeball perspective, It sure looks like they are slowly but surely getting more comfortable. NOt even close to being content like comfortable, but, not near as lost as compared to moments in previous games.
Sometime,s you just get beat on a play and it has nothing to do with lack of focus or effort.

Blazers played extremely well coming off of a very heart breaking type of loss and facing another team on the road hungry for their first win.
