If the Phoenix suns keep going on 15, 17 game winning streaks, they're only going to end up with 11 losses this season! Thats 2 away fom MJ's Bulls, do you think they can pull it off?
It's not going to happen, their is no way that they go 34-3 to end the regular season. I could however see them getting around 66 wins which is the 5th most in NBA history.

they wont finish with that good of a recordthey'll have a stretch of bad games and I imagine they'll rest their starters at the end of the season when they lock up a playoff spot..Amare especially

Teams are going to be playing twice as hard trying to lock up final playoff spots, after the All Star break is when most teams finally get it together and play their best basketball of the season. It's going to be extremely hard.
Also, the games against the Western confernce teams coming up for them as well will play a part in them not continuing this kind of win streaks. They've yet to beat a contender in the regular season.

the only contender they've beat in the west are the rockets. by the end of the regular season they'll still have a pretty good record but they will have to slow down some time, I bet they'l finish in the 60-60+ wins area
I hope they break the win record. They won't accomplish anything in the post-season. Run n Gun doesn't work against the good teams. Yeah, they can beat teams now, but I have as many championships as Steve Nash, Shawn Marion and Amare Stoudamire combined. Right now, I'd compare them to the Indy Colts from a couple years ago. They just aren't at a championship level yet. They do amazing in the season, and collapse when it counts.

LOL, seriously. In case you guys have forgotten, Dallas has beaten Phoenix both times they've played. Dallas is still the best team in the West. Don't get it twisted.
No, it won't happen. 15 losses at the most. It's pretty amazing though, especially considering the NBA was less talented than it is now, and the Suns are very winful for their record.
There was an interesting graphic in the Boston Sunday Globe this past week, and it was about teams with 2 15+ win streaks in a season. I don't remember the specifics of it, but I remember most of the teams that were on the graphic at least went to the NBA Finals. Take it for what its worth, I guess.
Lol at this thread jinxing the suns. Losing to Minnesota. Lmao. The mavs will finish first in the West with about 65 wins and the suns about 63 wins.

They wont do it. They will run out of energy, plus they will be saving the best players towards the last month or so of the season.

If the Suns beat all of the good teams that they face in February, they could still drop a game to one of the poorer teams if they have a bad night. All teams play bad every once in a while...I think the Suns are going to end up with about 67 wins though. The team is straight up good....But like I said, they will have their off nights and other teams will have their on nights. The Suns cant win every game...
