Dunleavy will have a solid game offensively, most likely, but defensively he needs to be aware that we have some serious wing scoring ability when they are on. Key Matchup
vs. Al Jefferson vs. Jermaine O'Neal
Jermaine O'Neal is obviously one of the best big men in the league, on both ends, and Al Jefferson is a young Jermaine O'Neal in a lot of ways. Both of these guys are excellent scorers, both are good rebounders, both are quick for a PF/C, and both can block shots. JO does everything a little bit better at this point, but it will still be an interesting matchup to watch, especially considering Al will want to have a good game (since he had a stinker the other night vs. Washington). CelticBalla's Extra Thoughts/Notes I like the Pacers, they are a scary team when healthy and on top of their game. JO is a top 5-7 PF in the NBA and he can dominate both ends. That will be a big problem for us, and what makes it worse is that we don't have Paul Pierce. It will be interesting to see the new Pacers with the team though, I haven't seen a Pacer game since the trade went down. CelticBalla's Prediction I see us losing this one too. It is possible that we could get a win, but if we don't, we are pretty much out of luck for the next 4 games (vs. LA Lakers, vs. LA Clippers, @ Detroit, vs. Miami).
Well as this game is winding down and I'm about to fall asleep, a few thoughts from me: 1. BIG AL JEFFERSON WILL BE BETTER THAN PAU GASOL. He was great on the glass tonight. 2. At the beginning of the 2nd half, Bassy wasn't hitting his shots, but I thought it was a very very encouraging game from him. He hit a few shots, scored a few points, only had two turnovers, was taking shots within his range, just weren't really falling in the beginnig. 3. Wally can't hit water if he's falling off a cruise ship. Somethings still wrong with him. 4. Rondo had another solid all around game despite four turnovers. 5. I vote Scal to defend the other teams best big man from now on.
Ugh, yet another loss. 12 in a row. Woo hoo? Well, Big Al dominated in the first half (he had like 13 and 11 at the half), but this stupid team refused to go to him in the 2nd half. Al's first half offensively, just wow. Jumpers, post moves, spins, hooks, the whole shebang. The second half, this team played stupid basketball and didn't shove it into him. He stayed consistent on the glass all night though, finishing with 17 boards. The refs were f*cking ridiculous tonight for both sides. Waaaay too many travels, fouls, and bullsh** calls. Everybody was in foul trouble. Delonte didn't play in the second half because of the flu. Hopefully D-West is alright tonight (especially considering I'm going to the game). Gomes hustled like a mad man all night long, I loved it! Rondo didn't have a great game at all, same with Perk. Gerald didn't do great, however I loved what I saw from him. He didn't settle for jumpers tonight at all... he was driving and attacking all night long. Most of his points came in the end of the game, so he really picked it up in the 4th, but he still didn't do all that great. Not bad though, and the penetrating and attacking was AWESOME. Where the hell did Kandi Man come from? He had an awesome first half. EDIT: Oh yeah, how could I forget... Wally blows!!!!!!
Yo CB32, what did you think of Bassy last night? I thought he played better than he has in a long time. He hit a few shots, which hopefully can get his confidence up. Even though a lot weren't falling I thought he was taking a lot of good shots which are within his range. Hopefully he can play even better tonight

Granted, that lineup did get us back into the game, but it all started in garbage time, when Orien Greene was in for Indiana haha. But he did do a good job in those closing minutes. Other than those last 4-5 minutes, however, Bassy was terrible. He threw away about 2 passes and another one was way off target. He just played so damn sloppy.
You must admit, we had a good effort in the 4th quarter. We were down by like 25 points, and cut the lead to 4. But they just went away with it.
