I have no idea what Stern is thinking for suspending a player because he most likely accidently hit a player coming down from a shot. sh*t, I mean I've gotten accidently elbowed in the eye a few times by player, bumped heads accidently, etc. People accidently get hard contact. Well first off, you guys need to get off Kobe's dick, you're acting like he's LeBron now, god forbid he does something that isn't amazing.That looked pretty unaccidental to me, and looked like he meant to do that. Did he mean to drill him like that, that hard? No, no intent to injure. Should a foul have been called on KOBE? Yes. Should a suspension have been ordered? No.

Also, if kobe hit him because his block then kobe would've hit bruce bowen last season who blocked him if I remember 3 times in one game.

The NBA did the correct thing here. You can't go around elbowing people in the face. It was clear on slowed down video he elbowed him on person, Kobe, don't give me the bull "im trying to draw a foul." He was obviously ticked off about something, and unfortunately retailiated in this way. Glad to see the liar/***hole get suspended.

He had no intent to injure Ginobili whatsoever, so I think that eliminates the suspension factor. The suspension is completely baseless, and theres no way to defend it. As much as I don't like Kobe, I've got to admit that. But like I said; should a foul have been called on Kobe? Yes.
I finally saw this play tonight, and I do NOT agree with the suspension. Kobe wasn't looking to hit Manu Ginobili in the face, it looked like he was more so trying to knock Ginobili's hands out of his face. I don't agree with this suspension at all.

I don't know. It looked intentional to me. 1 game isn't all that bad for blatantly hitting someone in the face. Maybe it's questionable, but I don't think Kobe's follow through involves moving his hand violently to the right, hitting Manu Ginobili....
Wouldn't it make sense that after he gets blocked he's trying to prevent Ginobili from getting the ball..and he accidently elbows him?..it happens..
