Trail Blazers' center Festus Ezeli suffers setback in comeback

    Trail Blazers center Festus Ezeli last month suffered a minor setback in his comeback from a left knee procedure, CSNNW.com has learned.

    Ezeli suffered swelling in his left knee after he took part in two Blazers practices on Oct. 17 and Oct. 18, after which the Blazers have pulled back on his activity.

    “I practiced, and that’s what happens sometimes – it reacts, swells up, you go back, regress and come back,’’ Ezeli said Tuesday night before the Blazers game with Phoenix.

    He was brought in for the playoffs, not for the regular season.

    And supposedly that's better than keeping Kaman.

    No rush......Shaq didn't play the first half of many Laker seasons (his old sore toe excuse) so he'd be able to play in the post season...that's why we signed Ezeli...for the playoffs

    But 5 years from now, what will Paul Allen be paying him after falling for the old "A doctor says he's ready for 3-on-3" for 5 preseasons in a row? Then at midseason, the old "He's ready for the pool now." While his fans deny on this board that he broke the springs on his mother's sofa, where he doesn't have League Pass to watch Blazer games.
