Oh, go ahead. I fumigated the site this morning and I don't think you'll catch anything.

Doug Schoen, in case you don't know, is a Democratic pollster who worked for Bill Clinton. I think he makes some good points, but you'll have to risk contamination by clicking the link to check it out.

IMHO, He's wrong and in a HUGE minority. He's a center right Dem. Just like Bill Clinton and Obama.

    Yes Obama was center right.

I agree on Obama and your reaction doesn't surprise me based on what you've posted here before. That said, I think that there are major chunks of the Democratic base that are not thrilled with the push to the left. I think you saw that in the results in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. I'm not sure that the Dems can risk losing that portion of their "blue wall" and still win.

I disagree with you here. There's a reason why 14 million people stayed home instead of voting for Clinton. It's because she's too establishment and did not push to the left until Bernie made her. She screwed him in the primaries and that's why she lost the general. We want all the things that Bernie was talking about.

Just remember that the party isn't monolithic. I think that what the folks on the two coasts want varies considerably from what the middle part of America wants. The blue collar people in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan want jobs first and foremost. Carville wasn't wrong when he said that most important thing in an election is "the economy, stupid."

As far as 14 million Dems staying home, there was never going to be the enthusiasm for Hillary that there was for the first black presidential candidate. Add to that the email debacle and I'm surprised as many turned out as there were.

If you still don't GET IT, then I can't help you.

My right to marry who I want is secondary to actually running the country. I'll live. Social issues should ALWAYS be secondary to running the country. My right to marry whom I want doesn't put food on the table, gas in my car, money in my retirement, and clothes on my back.

My right to marry who I want doesn't keep Russia from getting in a war with us because the bitch I would have elected (who, according to you, I should have voted for because she's a democrat and I'm Bisexual) wanted a No Fly Zone in Syria.

My right to marry who I want doesn't bring jobs back from China.

My right to marry who I want doesn't stop possible ISIS members and uneducated, unskilled people from coming here by the hundreds because of open doors and a broken immigration system.

My right to marry who I want doesn't keep violent criminals from a 3rd World Country on our southern border from coming here and committing crime.

My right to marry who I want isn't a Constitutional Right. My Right to Keep and Bear Arms IS.

There's far more at stake than Social Issues. But for the last 8 years, you people have lost sight of that. So get ready to be reminded in January that this country is about so much more than your social feelings.

LMAO....I'm Bi, so I have to vote Democrat. Congratulations; now you know why I DIDN'T.
