The Clintons (and to be fair, the Obamas) have pretty much hogged the limelight on the national scene in the Democratic party, so aside from them there aren't many others to pick from. I still like Biden (although I prefer somebody under 55 or so), or Sanders (ditto). I'm curious to see what direction Warren goes in.

This guy has been picked by Bernie to replace Brazile (how does she still have a job?) to lead the DNC. He seems pretty smart:

That video, btw, is infuriating for pretty much anybody.

Yeah. The dude is too cool to rule. But these lefty intellectuals would never get it.
Thank goodness, too cool isn't permitted more than two terms.

On the other side of the coin, the dude accomplished nothing but the largest debt run up in history.

Today is the moment when the rise of Ocean began to slow and our Planet began to...

Man! Moses couldn't compete with that!

You would've been laughing too - don't lie. Because at that point you still had some faith in America.

The Right's blaming of Obama for the increase in the national debt is hypocrisy at it's finest. Obama paid the horrific tab inherited from the Bush/Cheney administration (after Bill Clinton left them a surplus). From the start Obama (perhaps deliberately?) was stuck between a rock and a hard place. It was either pay for the damages and be condemned or let them ride and be condemned. I believe he made the right choice.....

He gave $trillions to wall street.

He could have given that to main street. The money would have ended up with wall street anyway. But at least main street would have been much better off.

I'm sure President Trump is going to follow through and drain the swamp. He's already picked noted anti-corruption outsider reformists Giuliani, Christie and Gingrich for key administration positions.

He has the right to pick who he wants.

    Most obvious answer possible.

What do you expect? He's not going to pick socialists.

Whining about it isn't going to change the reality.

A lot of people voted for him because they thought he would be different. If he hires career politicians for key positions, how is he going to be different?

I think Kelly Anne Conway is going to be in; I heard her talking about that possibility last night.

I'd like that bad-ass Sheriff in too, David Clarke or whatever his name is, dude always tells it like it is. haha.

Ummmm.....I seem to recall that Obama, trying to insure a smooth transition, basically helping usher in Bush's "recovery" plan.....again, caught between a rock and a hard place.

You realize that your response totally misses the point, right? And kind of indicates that you don't really care about the things you claim to care about?

Bush spent 1/2 of TARP. Obama had the other half released by congress and also his $800B "emergency" stimulus bill on top of that.

I wouldn't have spent any of it.

    My expectations aren't absurd.

I expect him to pick who he wants.
