The nice thing is that, if you're the head statistician you're treated as somewhat of an assistant coach and get to make suggestions. I don't like doing the book or scoreboard, however, because it has few categories.

That imports into microsoft excel on my laptop where it computes more useful stats like efficiency, variance, standard deviation, +/-, etc. It seems complex but in fact is very painless and easy.

Re: My basketball games! I think they are, considering I don't shoot the ball that much. I'm getting over double digit scoring while doing a little bit of everything else.I'm too tired to go into major detail about my game today, we won the game 64-37. I had 11 points on 4-7 shooting, 3 blocks, 4 rebounds, 1 assists. I didn't play that much because we had such a huge lead and he sat the starters for most of the game. The other team depends on the two college players they have on the roster and both had to miss the game. On top of missing their top two leading scorers, they were also missing two other starters. We just took advantage, the game wasn't as close as the final score. They started a rally against our bench towards the end of the game.EDIT: Went into a bit more detail, I might add some more tomorrow.
Re: My basketball games! Still a stathog... Just kidding man. Nice stats. About how many minutes do you average a game?
Re: My basketball games! Wow tonights game was insane. I had 5 points (2-5 shooting) 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. I should have had 16-17 assists, I was setting my teammates up perfectly but they weren't finishing the play. I reached my season high in rebounds and assists, I was throwing passes behind my back from the post, I had a great passing game. I didn't have any blocks though, that's a first for me.As for our team, it was a close game the entire time. We had one player leave the game due to injury, another two were fouled out. We put our worst player in the game (Why? I have no idea) There is 15 seconds left, we inbound the ball and push full throttle being down by one point. Our point guard passes it off to our bench warmer in the corner, and he swishes a corner shot with 10 seconds left to give us the one point lead. The crowd went INSANE when he hit that shot, our whole team was so proud of him. They got off a shot on the other end but missed the potential game winner. It was a great game to watch and be apart of, no team had a lead higher than 5 points the entire game. The final score was us on the winning end 57-56.

You are just like a stat god. :happy0144: lol
Re: My basketball games! Well, I didn't get a triple double. I had 9 points on 3-4 shooting (all threes) 7 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 4 assists. We played the team that has a 6'8 college basketball center on their roster, the last time we played his team he dropped 28 points on us. This time.... he dropped 7 points on 3-13 shooting. We had him on lock down the entire game, me and our center were playing the bottom half of the 2-3 zone. Every time he touched the ball we were double teaming him, and causing him to turn the ball over. We stripped the ball out of his hands before he went up for the shot at least 5 times, it was a great feeling knowing how frustrated he was. I will add more, later.
Re: My basketball games! Wow, tonights game was insane. I had 31 points (13-19 shooting, 5-8 FT) This is by far my best scoring game of the season, my previous high for the season was 18. I was just on fire, I hit 6 straight shots at one point. Since we only have a few games left I decided to break out of my passive shell and take some more shots. We have 3 games left before the playoffs start. We won the game 77-63, that's our highest point total for the season. I also had 2 blocks, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. On a side note, my team has won 9 of it's last 11 games. We are on a roll after a semi slow start.

Too bad you shot free-throws like Ben Wallace. You could've had 34 points if you'd make free-throws.Anyways, I'm just bothering you. That's a pretty nice game.
Re: My basketball games! The playoffs start in an hour, my team is the 6th seed and we will be playing the 3rd best team. We already beat this squad twice, so I don't think it's going to be a problem. It's an all day tournament if you keep winning, if you lose then you go home.EDIT: We won the first game, then we lost in the semifinals to the best team in the league. I had 14 points in the first game, and 11 points in the semifinals game. We have another tournament on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of next week, we're the 2nd seed in that tourney.I would go into more detail, but I'm too lazy.

I looked at the score and they didnt count it. they said the foul was on the floor before you put the shot up.nice milian picture tho.

They ended up counting the shot I made when that little girl ran onto the court, and I never included the layup with my other points. If I counted that layup, I would of had 33 points instead of 31.
Re: My basketball games! dang, I never knew you were such a baller! there needs to be a way that all the bbw members can have a game together, that would be hilarious!
