It didn't get the economy moving again. It was spent and had nowhere near the promised effects. http://www.usnews.com/opinion/artic...t-failures-from-president-obamas-stimulus-law
Running for office is one thing, governing is another. Several of the people he's considering are so rich they don't need to take bribes.
You're the one who seems to have issues with who he's appointing. Guess what? You lost. He gets to choose his team.
It's like every youtube video of college crybullies made into one #%!=/÷!# post. I can say $!%!×/## now cuz Trump won. Ok, I edited it right away. Just because I can say it doesn't mean I should.
Is this because "appointing" has "point" in it? I'm trying to work out your train of thought. Although perhaps "mayfly of thought" would be more appropriate.
You know who NEVER needs to take bribes? Monarchs! I think you're right - this whole democracy experiment has been a bit of a failure.
My train of thought is simply that he won, he gets to pick his staff. You seem to be upset about that. Not my problem.
Worth a read: http://www.newsweek.com/myths-cost-democrats-presidential-election-521044 Key excerpt explaining why the "Bernie would've beaten Trump" narrative is very naive:
Here is an analogy to illustrate what I mean by you missing the point: DENNY: Candidate x is bad because he kicked an innocent person. I myself am opposed to violence against innocents. LIBERAL: But Trump just blew that guy's head off with a bazooka! DENNY: It was his bazooka. LIBERAL: Yes, I know - but he just killed someone! Aren't you opposed to violence against innocents? DENNY: What part of "it's his bazooka" don't you understand? You appear to be mad at someone using his own property in the way he sees fit. Butthurt much?
Proof by analogy is no proof at all ;-) More like: Trump: I won, I'm picking my own team Sore Losers: Wah!
I'm pretty sure I'm on ignore here but does anyone else see how ridiculous this analogy is? This tops the other recent posts in terms of sheer stupidity. These posts are so far out in left field it seems fake at this point.
Yeah, just like the way he built a multi-billion dollar empire by letting everyone tell him what to do and over-rule his decisions. You sir, are delusional by choice.
I'm just bumping this to thank Hillary Clinton and the DNC for running such a fine fucking campaign in 2016. If you want to pin the blame for Roe v Wade on somebody other than Republicans (who, let's face it, have been working on this for 30+ years), let's all have another round of applause for the complete asshat idea of running a tired old failure back again. 2016 is why there are now 3 more conservative Supreme Court justices. Fuck the Clintons and fuck the DNC.
Wow, this would have been a much better outcome. It's what I mostly expected as well. Things turned out SO much worse...
Hillary is a corporate stooge. But there are so many in congress today, you'd have to nuke the whole god damn site just to be sure you got 'em all.
This right here! That's what happens when one thinks they are in line to be anointed and they are slippery as ever.
