This is great news. I don't want to lose my very affordable health insurance.

Thank you for taking personal responsibility for your health. Your results are awesome. Quiting the cigs must've been hard as a MF. I'm glad you'll be off those diabetes meds. My mother has terrible diabetes. It's nothing to fuck with. Congrats on your better health.

2 things: people aren't on their own. Thanks to Reagan, no one is denied care. What happens when they get sick or hurt? They go to the ER and we ALL pay for them. They should do what you do and take personal responsibilityfor their health.

They don't require kids to stay on. You simply have the ability to. If the kid has their own job that has healthcare, they don't go on mommy/daddy's healthcare. It's an option to help your kid stay covered when they're in school and to save money when they're a bit older.

Ah. Never heard of it. I take symbicort and albuterol. Albuterol was like $5. Symbicort is $50/month with my insurance. I had a heart attack about it. Why are they so expensive

Balls on them. The albuterol is $3.50 and the flovent is $54.95 in Canada.

I figured if it was 3.50 in Canada it was probably about a buck fifty at cost. That just happens to be right around 100 times the way it is priced. You know greedy assholes are everywhere

I may have. I have read couple of his books and tried a few more. The ones that caught my fancy years ago were by Eric Hiscock. Cruising under Sail and Voyaging Under Sail.
    Great stuff.

I enjoyed reading his short story, "To Build a Fire." That story and Richard Connell's, "The Most Dangerous Game," really took hold of me and brought my attention to the joy of reading.

He wants to amend 80% of it. Wants to keep some part of it like patients with preconditions and the part that allows your kids to carry the insurance until the age of 26.

But this has been in his message from the beginning.

I consider Jack London to be one of the great American novelists...his imagery is deep...I write down quotes after I read them just to contemplate how good they are..and I never do that with most reading material

One skill Trump has is announcing things.....until the next day when he changes his mind

Mine is $1,257.00 a month this year as opposed to $302.00 4 years ago for the same plan. My insurer MODA is pulling out after December leaving Beautiful Central Oregon with no actual options for comprehensive health insurance coverage whether Obamacare or otherwise. Why do you, a Hollywood star who can afford to jetset around the country watching Blazers games, get affordable health insurance when hardworking farmers, ranchers, construction workers... do not?

I guess I don't understand how you get charged that much per month.....I had Moda for many years and it wasn't that much through the district...I'd shop around if I were you .....maybe you have health issues they penalize you for or you make too much income on paper....some local doctors and dentists are offering to cut deals with patients if they use cash instead of their insurance..... 12 hundred bucks is outrageous...

Trump said from Day 1 he liked the pre-existing condition protection and for young adults living with their parents. He repeated it over and over throughout the campaign. It was reported over and over and over the last year and a half on Fox News.

Anyone buying this nonsense that some kind of change in position by Trump has occurred is an idiot who is comfortable believing what CNN tells them even after Wikileaks has exposed CNN as a fake news organization guilty of committing fraud on the American public by manipulating the election process.

As for dismantling Obamacare, it is already crumbling in large population centers and no longer even available to most of rural America.

So you're saying Trump is an idiot? I heard him say exactly that he would change some positions on camera sitting next to Obama..and repeat it the next day...he tends to change course with the tides...I think he's humbled by what he's faced with now and for me.....it's a good thing. This administration is going to be run by the party machine with Pence doing the dirty work and Trump making the speeches...just like Bush Cheney.....they have total control. Trump will be that photo op figurehead...I'll judge his work when I see some.....you might want to actually listen to what Trump says before judging those who may disagree with you

I am self-employed. Most people living in rural America are either self-employed or working for small businesses which can't afford to provide supplemented insurance.

I had MODA for years also, before Obamacare. Then we lost it due to a pre-existing condition, then were able to get back on because of Obamacare, but at 4 times the cost.

If I took 3 or 4 months off each year I could reduce my income enough to get subsidized, but no comprehensive plans are available through any insurer next year so it's a moot point.

And he has always said it, throughout his entire campaign. No change of position, this has always been his position.
