Wow, did anybody catch this game? It was a great game filled with 7-8 clutch shots all within a 2 minute span. Mehmet Okur had a huge game, he had 31 and 11 to go along with 3 HUGE clutch moments. He sank 3 straight free throws to put the Jazz up by 2 points, then he hit a 3 pointer to put the Jazz up by 3, finally he sank 2 more free throws to put the Jazz up by 3 again after a few Spurs buckets. It was a great game...Robert Horry took a stupid shot to end the game, he should have held the ball a bit longer until he received a better look.
Mehmet Okur, I hate him, I don't know why, but he's such a soild player. . He's a very clutch player. He's hit a ton of daggers that I can remember, either to spark a comeback, put his team back in it, win a game, or seal a game. Nothing like a big man who can beat you on the outside like he can.
I watched the 1st Q, then started to play 07. I'll make sure I catch the highlights of it tho, Sounds like it was a great game.
^ look folks, the villiage idiot. This was a very good game, and a very good win for the Boozerless Jazz. Okur has bailed the Jazz out A LOT. The Jazz should get him the ball every possesion when the game is under two minutes because he always produces. I'm also glad to see Haffa actually have a basketball game. He has sucked for so long so its nice to see him step up and play hard, the Jazz will need it since they don't have Boozer.
God damnet why can't the spurs just ever pull out a close game or even win a game against a team over .500, this year they are 11-14 against teams over .500 which has been their strengths over the years. This was a great game though as it was a see-saw battle in the end with threes from Bowen,Okur, and Horry. Good win for the Jazz w/o Boozer but tough loss for the Spurs who are still trying to find their swagger they have had in years past.
