We all wanted to see Maxiel tear it up against the rooks - but unforuntately he wasn't invited to play in the Sophomore/Rook game. This pisses me off - because anyone in their right mind would take Maxiel to play in that game. He'd give u the most amazing dunks that you've ever seen, he'll give you some nice fade aways and some monster blocks. I don't know why he wasn't picked - maybe it had to do something with Flip not playing him as much as he should be played. UghMaxiel was Shafted.

If Flip Saunders would just give him the playing time that he expects he would have been an easy pick for the game but Flip doesn't use him as much as he should. He has shown flashes of excellence this season when the team has had injuries and he played a major role in the starting lineup. Next year though we should be seeing this guy on the sophmore team IMO I think his game will be more developed.

Ryan Gomes is a great player I'm surprised he didnt make it, along with JMAX especiallyshafted is a great word for it, he scored 16 last night in Jersey and he is among one of the most explosive players when he goes up for a slam. He'll get his due sometime.but there are so many other good second year players, im not too surprised that he didnt make it as much as he deserved it.

6 points a game and 3 rebounds isn't gonna get you invited sorry. he doesn't play enough to get the invite. the rookies suck this year. the games gonna be a blowout unless the caveman drops 60 (adam morrison). he had a nice dunk last night in the nets game tho :happy0144:

Who honest to god gives a sh*t about who gets in the rookie/soph game. It's a waste of time.

Maxiel is playing like a beast. How Luther Head make it over him is beyond me. But Warrick and Gomes both got shafted also.

I heard on the pistons Post-Game that Maxiell is only more motivated to be an All-Star now then ever. He'd rather have that in the future, then this game now.
