In my mind this guy is definitely a top 20 pick, for some reason he is like in the mid-20's in most mocks. I think it's ridiculous. He's a great athlete, very good defender, can go to the basket, has a good attitude, top 5 player of the year candidate. He's very comparable to Josh Howard. I will bring this thread back up next year when he's one of the NBA's top rookies. You heard it here first.
I agree with you on how good he is, and how could he possibly and probably will be. But he's not a sleeper by any means. He is probably the frontrunner to win the National Player of the Year, which will probably wreck his 'sleeper' status.
I think Kevin Durant has the POY award in the bag right now...I think draft/talent wise for the NBA he's completely underrated by most websites.
The press doesn't like to give Freshman the POY. Thats just the way its been forever in College Basketball.

Who else is going to get the votes?
Tucker is a huge sleeper, along with another guy I love. Al Thornton of FSU. Great all around player, like Tucker, and is a senior as well. Even though most have Thornton higher than Tucker, Thornton should be a top ten pick in my eyes. Both of these kids have the potential to be very good NBA player.
I agree, I really like Thornton, I think he'd be a solid pick for the Celtics...One of my favorite guys in the draft because he's intense as hell and looks like he gives a damn.
I dont know if I would call him a sleeper still, since hes the best player on one of the 5 best teams in the nation but that kids got skills, thats all there is to it.
I think Tucker will be a draft sleeper. I have no idea why most mock drafts have him going in the 20's. I think he should be going a lot higher than that.
