We're getting blown out by everyteam in the league This team is broken, we need pieces. What about evan turner? Dude is awful. I dont see how can we back home 3-2. We're already lost to the cavs. I just hope that we can win the 2 games in NYC, or at least one.
It's a long season, so maybe don't slit your wrists just yet. Yes they look really bad right now and have a lot of work to do, but that's part of the fun of sports -- getting to see what a team is made of when things aren't going their way. Worst comes to worst, they really are this awful and need a house-cleaning trade, or maybe there's a coaching change at some point, or perhaps Allen gets weary of Neil Olshey and fires and hires another GM (again). Just to hedge your bets I'd maybe start watching some college games and following draftexpress.com to get excited about our upcoming lottery pick.
CJ is dribbling the ball and calling up plays to get Evan Turner situated for 3 point shots. I don't even know what this is anymore.
It certainly seems like they need something. This team as constructed is so guard/wing heavy with bigs who don't play big. If Olshey was in the running for GM of the Year last year, what will this year bring with $150+ million spent on Turner, Crabbe and Leonard? That is all kinds of yuck!
"The Blazers have trailed by 17 or more points in five of the last six games, including a 48-point deficit to the Clippers, a 26-point hole to the Bulls and a 25-point hole to the Rockets. The struggling Pelicans, who entered Friday’s game with two wins, led by 20 in the fourth quarter." Damn this team is beyond trash im sorry.. Honest to god I give Dame a lot of credit for even having this team at 7-7
This. Seeing Portland rank near of the bottom of all defensive categories isn't surprising. Frustrating? Yes. But with Aminu hurt and Ezeli injured, this shouldn't come as a surprise. However, I've noticed our offense is hot garbage this year. Yes, we're putting up 106.7 points per game, but that has a lot to do with the brilliance of Dame and CJ. We're not moving the ball on a string like we have in the past and that dribble hand-off between the point and Plumee needs to lower in frequency. It's too predictable and half the time Mason ends up standing 20 feet away from the basket as the shot clock winds down.
With all the speculation that this summer's moves were done with consolidation trades in mind, you've gotta wonder what that does to the psyche of the team.
We signed a lot of these guys based on their potential. So some would pan out and some would hit. Harkless hit.
We're a 500 ballclub in the west right now....and we aren't going to win a championship this season so this is not unusual for long time Blazer fans...we can only improve...I'm pretty sure we'll be active at the trade deadline
