We were getting big leads every single game, even against Clippers and Warriors. But then Turner came in and we fell apart. That's why I was frustrated. The starting lineup with Aminu is the most productive in the league. +15 per 100 possessions. I think we miss Aminu terribly.

Straight Up. Aminu, especially on his contract is underrated.

In the meantime, I think we should stick with Ed Davis I'm the starting lineup. It really helped our rebounding last night.

Because he's so important (sad to say) we can't risk him coming back too early.

It's a problem that our defense goes to shit when one guy is out with injury though....reminds me of when Wes got hurt

Chief is THE vocal guy on defense...now, it's a gaping hole and some guys who should be locked in don't seem to be getting it...ball movement is stagnant..we have a lot of things to address so to me it's all coaching for now....Stotts has to address the lack of defensive team work and get us at least middle of the pack in defensive standings....as it is we're flat out horrible on team defense and on passing the ball on offense....rebounds improved last game but when every team is scoring over 60 pts at halftime, you're going to lose a lot of games

I do know that we were bitching about how Aminu's shooting had fallen off a cliff...

I really think that's connected to his calf injury....probably didn't have his legs all season until he strained it...that's going to hurt your shot

how are you so seemingly certain that last year wasn't the aberration and this year he just reverts back to his career averages? I hope he does revert back to last yr but frankly I think that will likely end up being his career best yr from 3, Hark I think has become a better shooter from 3 and I think/hope he can maintain a 36-38% for a season from 3, we see

I don't know but his career average is 31% and he was shooting 25% in a small sample size this year. We'll see what happens. I don't think it's a coincidence that our defense and rebounding went down the toilet when we lost our best defender and rebounder.

What are you trying to say? His presence is missed on the defensive end. These stats don't prove otherwise.

Missed shots and turnovers lead to fast breaks and easy points on the other end.
