I think its BS that Tony Parker made it, he does score 19 ppg but he has 5 asts.. wtf is that? Chris Paul or Baron Davis is much better than Parker... Parker has Duncan thats the only reason.Since Yao Ming and Carlos Boozer are not playing the people that should replace them is Carmelo Anthony definately and either Elton Brand or Josh Howard. (I say they take Parker off the team lol).In the East they did real good, Paul Pierce's team looks terrible, I think Butler definately deserves to be in there but the only thing I would change is I think Emeka Okafor deserves to go in over Rip Hamilton... but again Shaq shouldn't even being going so that pretty much screwed him.
Um yeah Melo got into a fight with the knicks? Im pretty sure that hurt his popularity not his skill level.

Parker is a good player, and was worth considering in past years, but he hasn't been that great this year. It's mind-blowing that he's on the roster. He's a downright awful pick to be on it.
Boozers injury might not be as bad as some are reporting, so there might be a chance that he plays; so if he can't go I wouldn't expect an announcment about it until a few days before the all-star game.Marcus Camby isn't going, if Stern choses another center from the west it will be Mehmet Okur.

Defensivly yes, but Memo is a lot better offensivly, and the ASG is all about offense.

But even with records aside, Josh Howard deserved to get a spot. It's complete bullsh** that Howard didn't get it, and ESPECIALLY Melo. I wanted my main man Deron Williams in there too, but I'm not going to sit here and argue Tony Parker deserving it or not, because he deserved it as well.EDIT: And Marcus Camby is the 2nd best center in the Western Conference, though he'll never get the respect he deserves.
It's not complete bullsh** when there's so many good forwards in the West. There's not one forward that you can say really didn't deserve it in the West but Melo, Howard, Brand and Randolph and whoever I left off would probably be on the East team.
