I just got Windows Vista and it's pretty cool. Theres a lot of nice features that come with it including some awesome graphic changes. Theres a lot of 3-d things like the window changer and shiz like that. Who's gettin it? btw I got Vista Ultimate.here's a little SS - you can't really see much here, it's just a desktop.

I got a New Dell for Christmas with the Upgrade to Vista. So I'm going to be getting it as soon as Dell sends out the copies of Vista. I'm in no rush though. The graphics look crazy though.

The main attraction to Windows Vista would be if you had a TV Tuner card in your computer you can Watch and Record TV directly onto your computer very much like a TiVo (Except for Free on the computer), Then again, this option was already available to those who had Windows XP Media Center, so thats not exactly 'new'. It's also got the Integrated Search (Ripoff from Mac), a Bunch of Widgets to make their Sidebar down the Right Side (A ripoff, although more organized version of the Mac's Navigator), 'Better Security' (We'll see about that), Parental Controls, and Fancy Graphics to make it more appealing (Also known as 'Aero').Overall though, for an operating system with a 5 year wait to it, the level of innovation is rather low. I supposively have a free update for this laptop, this actually reminds me to try and do it now. But if I had to buy it I would pass on it. As nice as it looks theres no way I would pay hundreds for an OS when I could just get a new comp with it already on it.
