I wish Odom would get one of the two spots.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>All-Star Slot May Come Down To Anthony, Howard4th February, 2007 - 9:37 amCharlotte Observer -Although some have downplayed the glaring omissions of Carmelo Anthony and Josh Howard from the Western Conference All-Star team as a temporary issue, for one of the two it might not be.One certainly will be named an injury replacement by Commissioner David Stern for Rockets center Yao Ming, who will miss the game with a broken leg. But Jazz forward Carlos Boozer, the other Western All-Star who is ailing, warned not to count him out yet.Boozer, who injured his left knee a week ago, said he might be able to make it back and would not make a decision until closer to the Feb. 18 game in Las Vegas. That could put Stern in a bind, either leaving Dallas with Dirk Nowitzki as its lone All-Star or keeping out a player, in Anthony, who could stand, at the time, as the league's leading scorer.</div>What a selfish move by Carlos Boozer, trying to play in the ASG despite being injured. What happens if he aggravates his injury even more and misses more time? He needs to think about his team in this situation.

Or he could be like most human beings and make the bonus money on his contract for making the ASG.

I'm sorry, the fact that Nobody in this thread mentioned Howard until the second page of this thread is a travesty...Howard should go on before all these guys because the Mavs deserve 2 guys(or Dirk HAS to be the MVP), he's a solid player in all aspects, and a solid character guy. He isn't missing games for a punk move, he didn't hurt his team by getting suspended...and they guy is playing like a monster this year. The Mavs wouldn't be as good as they are without him.
