I just saw she raised the 2.5m. Hard to believe she raised it that fast but its going to get a lot more expensive then that.
Actually it's already 4.5 mill. I don't think money is going to be the issue. Just, whether it makes a difference. Odds are all three States won't be switched to blue after the recount, but it's worth knowing the vote is sound.
Wisconsin has accepted Jill Steins filing, and will begin a full recount next week, including a complete investigation into electronic voting systems in the state.
Good and when Trump still continues to win, maybe the liberal hypocrites will begin to finally "accept the results of the election"; after your agreement with Trump that maybe voting wasn't on the up-and-up all along. Funny how ironic this all is. For weeks we listened to the dems bash Trump for the exact same sentiments as they are whining about now. I guess it only matters to dems when it affects them, kinda like minorities.
Way to over generalize a group of people. I said I would accept the results and haven't changed my opinion. If Americans want to elect Trump, that's who they get. The rebound election should be interesting.
Do you deny the fact that the media went ape shit about Trump "not accepting the results" and "voting fraud" ?
If you don't want to respond, I can play that game too. Do you deny that you are grouping every liberal as one monolithic homogeneous person with only one uniform set of beliefs and opinions?
Many people thought Stein was a whacko during the campaign. Seems she's proving it. http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/a...gn-will-participate-in-stein-s-state-recounts Clinton Plan to Join Recount Draws ’Sore Loser’ Jibe from Trump Hillary Clinton’s campaign lawyer announced plans to participate in vote recounts of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan if they take place, yet doesn’t expect to overturn the election of Donald Trump as president. If Green Party candidate Jill Stein initiates recounts in all of those states as she intends, the Clinton campaign “will participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides,” lawyer Marc Elias said Saturday in a post on the blogging website Medium.com. The announcement prompted a sharp response from Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway, now a senior adviser to the president-elect. “What a pack of sore losers,” Conway said in a statement to Bloomberg. “After asking Mr. Trump and his team a million times on the trail, ‘Will HE accept the election results?’ it turns out Team Hillary and their new BFF Jill Stein can’t accept reality.” “Rather than adhere to the tradition of graciously conceding and wishing the winner well, they’ve opted to waste millions of dollars and dismiss the democratic process. The people have spoken. Time to listen up. #YesYourPresident,” Conway said. Stein says on her website that she’s raised more than $5.7 million for her recount effort so far, with a $7 million goal. The funds raised so far will cover costs in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. The Democrat’s campaign didn’t plan to initiate recounts on its own because it hasn’t found “any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the voting technology,” Elias wrote. Elias also isn’t expecting the recounts to erase what he said was a 107,000 combined vote margin separating the candidates in the three battleground states and overturning the election of Trump, who is due to be sworn in as president in January. “We do so fully aware that the number of votes separating Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the closest of these states -- Michigan -- well exceeds the largest margin ever overcome in a recount,“ Elias said. “But regardless of the potential to change the outcome in any of the states, we feel it is important, on principle, to ensure our campaign is legally represented in any court proceedings and represented on the ground in order to monitor the recount process itself.”
It's funny to see conservatives pulling out the you wont accept the results card. If Hillary had won, Trump would have filed for recounts the next day, and would have caused a shit storm with his lawyers, calling the election rigged. Hillary was gracious. She accepted she lost. The green party, not the Democratic party called for recounts. Of course the Democratic campaign is going to take part. But even so, they do so understanding the results will probably not change. They arent raising a big stink like Trump. Hell, Trump should welcome the recount, unless he knows inconsistencies will be found, lest they be evidence of Russian hacking, which I am sure will not be the case. So Trump should have nothing to worry about, right. Conway needs to stop being a hipocrit.
It's funny to see lefties refuse to accept the results of the election. They whined about certain republicans' attempts to somehow disqualify Obama, make him an illegitimate president. Even though they did the same thing to Bush prior and now Trump. Get over it.
Voting for President could be setup on a central server with remote standby backup systems running IMS FastPath to verify each voter is registered and valid by ID or signature. Tallying each vote in response mode, providing a receipt and logging the transaction for posterity. It is damn difficult to get into a back side server and near impossible to hack a parallel pair at the same point that isn't immediately detectable. Big Banks do money transactions this way everyday.
