Take the source for what it's worth. Why the Blazers are the Most Likely Team to Trade Some Players this Year The Trail Blazers have some of the best talent across the board in the NBA with their standout guard duo Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. Despite an extremely deep bench, they only sit at 8-7 in the absurdly competitive Western Conference. Deep as the Blazers' bench may be, may of them are expendable, which could prove to be an asset if they make a move to trade. Festus Ezeli, Meyers Leonard, and Mason Plumlee? One of them has got to go. There are a number of teams across the league that would dive on the chance to grab one of these talented bigs, and the Blazers could add a legitimate piece of the puzzle to make them a more complete team in return. Then there's the plethora of guards/forwards: Allen Crabbe, Maurice Harkless, and Evan Turner to name a few. Once again, there are simply too many players that are on a similar level of ability for Portland to hang on to them all. Sacrifice one (or a few) and get someone that can make real contributions in return. http://www.12up.com/posts/4154923-w...m-to-trade-some-players-this-year?a_aid=41147
I think I'm going to register a website called "Well-Duh.com" where people can post links to things like this. EDIT: I just realized that this could be read as a slam on dviss1, when I meant it as a slam on the person who felt the need to write this "article" in the first place.
12up.com? Dude. It's obvious that we'll make trade. Both Quick and Lowe, guys who actually know something about the team and league have re-iterated that this roster was built to make moves. There is nothing new here.
