I hear somewhere that the Sophomores have won 5 out of the last 7 of these events. I was wondering which years the Rookie team actually won this. Does anyone know? I think next year's rookie class has a great chance of winning it next season.

It wasn't called Rookie/Sophmore until the year 2000.<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CB4AllStar @ Feb 2 2007, 08:28 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I hear somewhere that the Sophomores have won 5 out of the last 7 of these events. Do you believe the 2003 class lost the rookie game?

Iguodala won the MVP because he completely took over the game. He was dunking, hitting jumpers from everywhere, and shot 4-6 from three-point territory.CB4, here's the link to NBA.com's page about the history of the Rookie vs. Sophomore game:http://www.nba.com/history/allstar/rookie_...me_results.html

Ya I'm pretty sure next years Rookies will beat the Sophomores. The draft is strong. And this years rookies will lose to the Sophomores. Chris Paul and Deron Williams will take over the game.

Just look at the box score. Obviously he gave everybody a little preview of what he had in store for the dunk contest, but to sit there and say he won it solely because of his dunking is just flat out wrong.

I'm just pointing out that the dunker will always be remembered before the shooter. Which is sad, but it is the way it is.
