One of the best Nash games in his ranger career.

You don't even make any sense. Next time understand there's three periods in a hockey game. I'll give you credit for gem post of the evening.

Team is back to being trash as per usual in this coach's tenure.

If trash means first place I guess you're right.

have you forgotten the sens, blue jackets and the pens game? the team has been playing crappy lately like they did last year. Do you even pay attention to the games or just come here and say that all is fine and dandy because they are in the first place by three points?

Yeah it can be ugly here. It gets very frustrating posting with people who claim to be Rangers fans but in reality do nothing but repeatedly bash the team despite the team's successes over the past few years. I for one am very thankful for all the meaningful spring hockey we've gotten to see the past few years. There are many, many fans out there who haven't seen a playoff game in years, let alone 3 trips to the conference finals and one trip to the Stanley cup. Yet all we hear is how this team is trash and the coach sucks. You can see how that gets old I'm sure.

Great bounce back win after a sluggish first period. Defense tightened up in the second and third and the offense started clicking after sleepwalking through the first.

Bright spots obviously Rick Nash but Miller, Fast, Vesey and Girardi also had strong games. Klein continues to struggle, he was beaten on the second goal. We can't afford to have him play like this given how short we are on right hand D.

I've been watching The Rangers for a few years and they always had a winning season. Now the Knicks on the other hand.......... no comment.

No, I'm smart enough to know that no hockey team is going to go 82-0. The team is in first place and is one point from the top spot in the entire league. It just foolish to blast the team as being trash because they have a rough couple of games. I'll atleast give you credit for coming back after they won. 94 as usual will go back under his rock until he can come to bash the team again after a loss.

Every win with Zibanejad out is a huge win as I said before. Every team has up's and down's during the season. The team has a fantastic record so far. Nothing to complain about for the most part. When you gave a top record, every team in the league starts to play their A game vs. you. Just how it goes. Big positive is Nash came through today. Rare for him lately. 10 goals is a good start to this year. If he can get 30 this year he become highly tradeable in the off-season with 1 year left on his deal.

Wasn't pretty last night but a win is a win and you take them as pretty or as ugly as they are. Nash continues playing like a man possessed. Offense down a notch which is to be expected being without zib and buch who are 2 big components. Defense continues to be the weak link. Girardi I have to say has been better than I expected but unfortunately Klein is either hurt or has really regressed. AV's style is to sit the extra d-man till he rots but wish he would get clendening in for a game or 2 and give klein and or girardi an occasional night off. Goaltending for the most part has been fine. Rangers are playoff bound just a matter of the finish between them, pitt and the caps. Lillie, keep posting.

Ah the Knicks...now that's a fanbase with a legitimate complaint.

I used to be a big NBA guy, but after the era of Larry Johnson, Sprewell, Allan Houston, Kurt Thomas etc. and the battles they used to have with those Heat and Pacers teams it just seems like a completely different league. I've watched maybe 10 minutes of NBA action in the past 5 years. Love college ball but would rather watch a full NASCAR race than the NBA.

Games in this league even out as the year progresses. Right now Rangers are down
two offensive forwards......which means others have to shoulder the responsibilities.
Imagine, the Rangers are in first place for now and their defense is not playing at
its optimum......what's to complain about? It could be worse.

I can't watch the NBA anymore either. It has a lot to do with the Knicks being terrible for so long but also the game is just a complete joke now. It's three pointers and fouls galore.

People forget. IMO Zibanejad is our number 1 center. He has by far the highest ceiling. He is out. Grabner our best PK guy with 12 goals is out. Buchnevich who really added creativity to the line he was on and our PP is out. That's 3 of the teams top 9 forwards. That is going to hurt the offense a lot.

I wouldn't mind seeing a little more Nieves in Lindbergs place for a few games. He's been a bit disappointing even in limited action.
