I can't believe this screwed up article or journalist.... at all....

    http://elitesportsny.com/2016/11/29...-nathan-eovaldi-was-a-poor-baseball-decision/

If Eovaldi is/was the "safest bet" going forward for the Yanx, then geezus fkng Christ let's sign some more Pitcher's on a long TJ - DL stint....Fkng shit, let's sign a broken legged CF'r, and a Midget DH....

other BS comments: "the Houston native was undoubtedly the best in-house solution". If this is a 'solution', I'd hate to see the plan or the problem.

and- "Granted, his shortcomings were evident. He was not quite there yet". Isn't this the very point...???

    next to last BS comment:
"With that said, his flashes of brilliance outweighed his prolonged funks. His stretches of sheer dominance provided hopefulness about what was in store". No dumbass, "what was in store", was a major TJ surgery, and long ass DL stint; and NO guarantee of a future either...Since when are players who are pending on a long surgical recovery time table, not the way of the future.....?

the guy is a gamble no doubt, either way, best cut out all gambles, period, as a long term contract big $$$ one is a risky deal, gambling with years and money....

last- BS comment: "Without Eovaldi, the Yankees only possess the unexpected". No, fk wad; once again, only Eovaldi is the unexpected, the rookies of the future are expected to perform to the highest standards....!

If Berbari is right, and NE can mount a comeback; then after the full 2019 season, (he's not expected to even pitch with any team until mid-2018); if Eovaldi can win 20 games or have a sub 4.00 ERA, then I will eat my horses ass.... He's never won 15 games in any year, and his lifetime era at 4.21, I don't think NE, is the pitcher of the future at all, with any team. So prove me wrong...please don't...

His 015 campaign of having the highest Win Pctg, is his only real accomplishment in his career....LFD...!

...lol...^^^...and don't forget that in addition to a prospect we also got another gem in that deal, Garrett fucking Jones...and hey, it only cost us Martin Prado, David Phelps, and $6 Mil cash.

^^^ I'm glad you addressed this, as I think most would of rather seen Prado and Phelps still in Pinstripes, while Garrett fkng Jones is a trainwreck.... plus there would of never been Chase Headley either...

With The Yanx de-railed train of the last few yrs; it really wouldn't of mattered much, if Nate ever came to the Bronx, imo...

My wife went to school with a girl named Wendy Butt

Me, I went to school with a great gal, funny as hell, by the name of Sharon Woodcock, she called herself "Splinter Dick", great sense of humor....

Then there were the Glasscock twins, neither took to any humor, but got lots of it regardless, hey change your name if you have a problem with it....

no shit to all the above, wish I could pull out my old yearbooks, just to burn copies of these 3 peeps...

I think it is simply L-I-F-E that's got me, but my brain cells have all degenerated, I mean re-generated since then..... I got fried by radar units of a E-8 Joint STAR during testing, biggest microwave units, I've ever seen.....

actually, the names do indeed represent real characters or people....lmao, and I'm serious....(chuckling) serious as a-, a-, a-

____, no I'm not going there.....

more like the Frisco, Owsley Stanley- Orange Sunshine, or Purple Haze; when still legal, pre-73.

On Haight & Ashbury, I literally saw a fried out soul one yr who was wearing a purple Wizard suit, I kid you not......casting all his gibberish spells on peeps, maybe that was it....honestly by then, I knew the best high was a sober life-..... just don't touch my Ganja-...

Avoid the Castro District at all costs....

Tote, you can say more in one sentence, than I can in a page.... touche- :smiley-hailxin:

everyone is color blind in Frisco, one reason the Giant's wore polyester Orange Jersey's in the disco huge lapel era, parallel to MLB's - Pull Over Jersey's era...
