buckle up! Trump won the election by pissing a lot of people off....simple..now he gets to govern those people under a microscope....
At the same time, it's interesting that there are 10,000 posts here (i exaggerate only slightly) about how butt hurt the snowflakes and libtards are. I think 'you lost' is a greater source of joy than 'we won' here. But I'm comfortable with Trump fans taking whatever joy they can in their victory. I'll try to remember to rub it in their faces down the road when the pendulum swings back. barfo
And how is that different than what Obama did to the right in the last election? It seems like our political discourse is in a death spiral. Bush...ugly. Obama...uglier. Trump...total meltdown.
Oh, I doubt that it would be too hard to search out a few gleeful posts from you in the archives from when Obama won. But, to paraphrase Mrs. Clinton, at this point what difference does it really make anyway? I'm firmly convinced that Trump is going to be a disaster, but I'm more than willing to wait until something of significance happens before I start yelling about it. The degree of liberal meltdown on Facebook and social media is beyond belief.
in my opinion, it's very, very different from anything we've seen before.....to be on a death spiral would require political discourse and we've been in divorce court without good representation most of my life...Obama came into office playing defense....Cheney was in total control of Bush...offense...if you think Trump is getting bad vibes now....I expect it to get much worse. I'm not impressed with anything so far....like I said, buckle up.....Trump has a lot of backpedaling to do if he wants Congress to work with him....enter Mitt Romney, etc....at least in the past our elected officials were civil within the discourse...not sure Donald has that skill
I don't know, the search here doesn't seem all that easy, or maybe I just don't know how to use it. Somehow 'posts newer than' is not very useful when searching for posts from years ago. I'll have to take your word for it. It must be pretty amazing to need to mention it constantly. I'm sure it's nothing at all like the rants about Obummer these last 8 years. barfo
I'm doubtful that Trump has the self control to avoid veering off on irrelevant tangents every time someone goads him...which is going to be constantly. Some people seem to think that he's just messing with the media with his Twitter storms. I think it's more like where you take your dog on a walk and he's trotting along beside you and you're both enjoying the jaunt...SQUIRREL!!!!
Yeah the search function is pretty much useless. Thinking about it more carefully, I doubt you did much gloating. More likely, you and Denny just made snarky posts back and forth like usual. As far as the stuff on FB, maybe I just have a lot of friends who are liberal, but my feed is one big whine-fest. EDIT: And as far as the "need to mention it constantly", not sure what the hell you're talking about unless once equates to "constantly" in your corner of the Internet.
I really like this and it's the first thing I've liked Trump has done....about frickin' time! I've always been pro Taiwan independence and him calling the president is a first step in the right direction..maybe they'll get back into the UN again and have an embassy here http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...an-call/ar-AAl4a9j?li=BBmkt5R&ocid=spartanntp
Well, we surely did that. Whether I gloated or not, I don't remember. I hope so I'm not on FB, so that's why I said I'd have to take your word for it. Wasn't meaning just you. This is my corner of the internet, and 'butt hurt' seems to be the phrase of the month here. barfo
"Trump’s Rich Nominees Have A History Of Political Influence" What's the joke again? Trump's draining the swamp all right - and this is what you find at the bottom of it.
Taiwan is probably the number one investor in China's big manufacturing sector...they'd stand to lose a lot....every country on the planet is invested in Taiwan's success...they are a true democracy...it's become a joke that they are China's territory..Tsai Ing-Wen the president has been fearless about independence...she's not tied to the Kuomingtang old school of mainlanders like Ma Ying Jeou was before her. A Taiwanese president can't get off the plane in America since 1979 although they made an exception so Lee Tung Huei could visit his alma mater here once
