not quite accurate...tax payers will pay for presidential security in two cities now instead of one....he doubled the presidential security detail and cost New York a lot of unnecessary complicated security scenarios that could have been totally avoided...his child can change schools just like any soldiers child has to.
Gimme a break. The government spent $billions on the Obamas' vacations. They're going to pay for security at Obama's houses until he dies. He bought a place in Palm Prings area recently.
http://abcnews.go.com/Business/wireStory/us-jobless-rate-plunges-46-pct-employers-add-43926294 Added 178,000 jobs in November. The number ought to be 300,000+. The SoftBank deal adds about 10,000/mo. He needs to close about a dozen similar size deals to get us there. More taxpayers means the government doesn't need to tax at as brutally high a rate to pay the bills, and even invest some.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/busi...d324840106c_story.html?utm_term=.4ef57a402d4b Trump sold all shares in companies in June, spokesman says President-elect Donald Trump sold all his shares in companies in June, his spokesman said Tuesday, a move that could have created a cash windfall as he ramped up to begin a costly general election presidential campaign that at the time he claimed he would personally support with “major contributions.” The sell-off could help address conflict-of-interest worries about his stock portfolio, a sizable part of Trump’s financial life that was worth roughly as much as $40 million as of December 2015, a May disclosure filing shows. Trump’s stock portfolio, the May filing shows, included shares in a number of banks, oil giants and other companies with business pending before the U.S. government and whose value could rise due to Trump’s decisions in office. Those stock holdings, ethics advisers said, offered a potentially troublesome facet of Trump’s private finances that could entangle his public decision-making. Beyond comments to The Post, Trump representatives have not provided records of stock transactions or other details since the May filing.

I think his modernization of the military and the way we fight terrorism without committing massive ground troops was the right move...he streamlined what he could....Reagan and both Bushes had us wasting fortunes on failed arms investments. One of the things I like seeing Trump address is govt waste and the military has most of it
Can Trump, as President, dictate where the money is invested? Or perhaps not as president specifically, but as someone that was involved in brokering the deal?
http://www.courier-journal.com/stor...ampaign-stupid-stuff-steven-strauss/94990920/ The Clintons have done enough damage: Steven Strauss They need to take their money, step away from politics and hope no one follows their example. President Obama famously said a key element of his strategy is: "Don't do stupid s---." Hillary Clinton was unable to learn this simple lesson, despite losing to Obama in the 2008 Democratic primary (and serving in Obama’s Cabinet for four years thereafter). The Clintons, of all people, should have been aware of the challenges of a presidential campaign — yet, they still did an amazing number of stupid things. Hillary Clinton and her allies have blamed her election loss on the investigation of her private email server — especially FBI Director James Comey’s letter telling Congress he was revisiting that investigation just days before the election. The unprecedented decision to put all of Clinton's emails on a private server, however, was made by her and her team. It should have been obvious to anyone that a secretary of State hosting her own email server, without even bothering to get approvalfrom the State Department, in her own house, was going to seem odd and trigger questions.
He can only do what is within executive powers and whatever congress is willing to go along with. In the case of carrier, he went to Indiana and persuaded the state to come up with a token amount in tax relief. If the state said no, then maybe no deal. He would have to find some other parameters that work.
