People know who he is, but not to a certain extent. With Desmond Mason like 4 years ago, after he did good in the dunk contest, his stock totally went up and he got alot more recognition for his game and what not. This can only be good for Gerald. I think it is really going to boost his confidence.

If you don't believe me, find his 2005 High School Dunk Contest highlights and watch that. Pay attention to his last dunk, where he won in the tie-breaker round, where he throws the ball in the air, lets it bounce off the ground, catches it in mid-air, puts the ball between his legs, and slams it with 1 hand. ^^^ Oh, and he's gotten stronger since then. All I can say is watch the F*ck out for Gerald in this dunk contest.
