You have to change thing up on D during the game. Giving different looks makes the offense to react instead knowing this what we going to do because they only play this type of D. Guards knowing there a screen instead automatic running into the screen force that player father out away from the screen. Every player that was taught right knows how to step around a screen something you learn in high school.

It was great to watch cause our bigs are active and athletic perfect to play the blitz. I couldnt agree more that we need more blitzing from the bigs it was my biggest takeaway from the chicago game.

We should see some blitzing on Giannis tonight to make him a shooter rather than a playmaker.

Honestly whoever's gaurding him better go under the screen every single time.

Problem with Gianni's is that he's so tall I'm he'll just be able to pinpoint passes over-the-top when blitzed, which could lead to some very easy buckets. I suggest hedging the big with the guard going under.

We'll see tonight I think if he tries to throw passes over plums and davis tonight it might lead to deflections and turnovers. Thats why they play the games. I think without question tho you gotta make Giannis beat you with his jumper.

I would prefer that we guarded the pick and roll effectively.

I think ideally you would use all of the above. It's not that hard, but Stotts acts like these guys are mental midgets who can only handle "learning" one way to do it all the time. I like hedging primarily, assuming the big you have out there isn't a big slug. With someone like RoLo I understood sagging. He was fairly effective at sagging and contesting shots without fouling. Plumlee doesn't seem as suited to this defense, and with his mobility, I would personally put him to use jumping out at the ball more. The few times we've blitzed the ball this season have mostly ended up in stops, even steals leading to fast breaks.

I would prefer that we guarded the pick and roll with a healthy Anthony Davis....

    Well.
I don't care how, just fricken better. Figure it out Stotts! Hire @BonesJones as a private consultant under the radar or something on this cause yeah. He explained shit to me that was somewhat over my head... and apparently over yours too cause the players asked for what he said and bam... it worked!!!!
