    Is Rudy Gay good enough to be the center piece of the Grizzlies or is he at best a #2 player?

    </p></div>as in draft position? It would be pretty hard to make an arguement for him to be in the top 10.

    You are underestimating what numbers he would have put up at UConn last year </p>

    I cannot see him ever becoming any better than a great third option like Iguodala.

    Good second option, great third option.</p>

    I don't see him being that much worse/better than Deng, Iguodala, or Josh Smith. </p>

    Gay is always good enough for Cpaw. He likes his Tuesday tickled.

    http://www.nba.com/summerleague2007/player...gay_070607.html</p>

    On that link is a link to the nba.com video of Rudy Gay dunking on Yi</p>

    </p>

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>With the side of the floor cleared out and Yi defending, Gay drove baseline, came up on the other side of the rim and jammed in Yi&rsquo;s mug. He drew a technical foul for taunting but I&rsquo;m sure the Grizzlies' coaches didn&rsquo;t mind.</div></p>

    </p>

    <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Turnover aside, new Grizzlies head coach Marc Iavaroni was impressed with the play of his super sophomore.

    "I like Rudy playing inside," Iavaroni said. "He asserted himself today and showed that he can play inside and outside. He knows he needs to improve his defense but I love the fire he played with."</div></p>
