    4. If the Knicks were to release Steve Francis, he would probably wind up signing with:(a) Celtics([IMG] Spurs(c ) Magic(d) RocketsANSWER: (d)The Rockets would be interested. Remember how Tracy McGrady and Magic management sniped at one another after McGrady was dealt to Houston for Francis in 2004? You heard no such criticism of Francis from the Rockets, and they still hold his talent in high regard. But it's hard to imagine that the Knicks will buy out Francis' contract anytime soon. While it's true that they've already paid off Mo Taylor and Jalen Rose, Francis is owed more than $40 million through '08-09 -- almost double the total buyout to his former teammates. The Knicks can't afford to pay him to play well for another team, especially if Stephon Marbury is injured again.http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writ...kly.quiz/2.htmlHmm, I really wouldn't mind if he came to the Rockets, as long as he doesn't become a selfish idiot that doesn't pass and considers himself the star and leader of the team.

I agree that the Rockets might need him but so do the Spurs they need a backup point guard behind Tony Parker as Beno Udrih has really been struggling all this year and hasn't helped out the Spurs too much while Tony has been on the bench. Steve Francis has shown throughout his career that he is a good scorer and can dish out assists too. This is exactly what the Spurs need to come off the bench.

I would like to see him going back to Houston. His days with Houston were his best years and after he got traded he went down hill. But even if he did go back to Houston, He won't be the star again, since it's not his team. But it would be interesting if he got back his confidence if he goes back to where his career began.

No you cant have three big time scorers in a team. Specially when one of them needs to have teh ball at all times (Francis), and when another cant make his own scoring plays(yao).

As a Knicks fan first, Houston second, I must say that this would be a bad sign to get him. He's done nothing this year, and has really bad knees, and no explosiveness anymore. And he still thinks he can be the number 1 option, which he clearly won't be, therefore I could see him stirring trouble.

I hope he goes no-where and rots in New York. I still dispise him for his draft day antics- refusing to play in cananda! F him what a f'er! may he play off the bench for a sh*tty team the rest of his career.

I'm sort of happy with rockets' roster right now. No need to trade, just get better.
