Re: Jason Terry's gotten huge. He was probably quicker in Atlanta but now he is stronger. Players tend to get stronger later in their career while losing soming of their quickness. It's a give and take kind of thing.

You can tell they've been working hard. Damp, Dirk, and Diop all look pretty athletic these days.

Re: Jason Terry's gotten huge. From what I hear, the Dallas Mavericks have the best training facility in the NBA. They usually whip players into shape pretty quick. Getting bigger has helped Jason Terry absorb more contact, that's one of the major differences in his game since his days in Atlanta.

He gives them just about everything they need. One reason why he is a great owner. Anyways, a lot of the Maverick players get into better shape after coming over. Look at Josh Howard in his rookie season and now. He's still skinny and long, but now he is stronger and can take a ton of contact in the paint. Same thing with Diop, Harris, and the formentioned Jason Terry.
