Attention BBW members: The Toronto Raptors are over .500 for the first time since 2 1/2 years ago.

I know this may not be a big deal to any people. But I thought I should post this. Many raptor fans been through sheer pain and agony for the past couple years of Raptor basketball. And the Raptors, after major overhaul, have actually shown some signs of promise. The last time the Raptors were over .500 was when they were 20-19 in the 2004 campaign.What does everyone think the future of the Raptors lie?Who will be the next star to accompany Bosh and Ford?Will this team ever be a championship contender?Or is this just a show and the Raptors are doomed for another lottery pick?

 

just so you know........ 2 1/2 years isn't that long.

 

If they can add that extra ''thing'' in which would make them better in someway then im sure in the next year there going to be right up there as a top east team like the magic, cavs, pistons & bulls .. I really don't see how that won't happen anytime soon.

I think they're winning the atlantic for sure now with the knicks right behind them. the nets get no respect from me. that team is so whack.

raptors are playing some damn good basketball, through the first half of the season we were only behind Miami for the most games played against Western Conference opponents and we still managed to get by. Also about the comment about that "extra thing" in my opinion that thing doesn't have to be a superstar player, for example Boris Diaw. He looked like a complete bust in Atlanta until he played for the Suns so that goes to show that getting that "extra thing" doesn't nessisarily mean getting a high profile player.

 

Raptors are now 25-23 and the winning streak continues to February. Let's keep this going.

 

Man 25-23. Raptors scored 66 points in the first half! Great game. Nets lose again and are now 22-26. Raptors will take the division.

Jesus Christ, are you guys going to get some type of reward for being mediocore? No. I expected this from the Raps....you play in a ridiculous division, just stfu..... your not the Suns or Mavs.

I'm not taking anything away from them. they're clearly the best team in the atlantic which is no accomplishment and being over .500 is no accomplishment either. they will continue to improve tho into the future.
