I don't drink coffee. Never acquired a taste for it.

Ditto. Always tasted like burned dirt to me. I think it's one of those things where the mind can develop a "taste" over time for whatever the delivery system is for the drug or stimulant that is being delivered.

This is why I drown mine in vanilla flavored creamer.

That's because you all are just used to American coffee (which should really be named "brown water").

    Proper coffee is fantastic.

The correct order for Coffee is: Turkish(*), French, Italian, Druze, German, instant robust, donkey infused sewer, American coffee.

(*) - Substitute Greek in Greece and Cyprus - same thing, different name.

The same should go for "translucent piss" (American Lager) - but this is really a different rant.

No, andalusian. I've known coffee connoisseurs and have tried a variety. Not American but European, Latin American. I just plain don't like it. I am OK with coffee ice cream (basically cream with a dash of coffee) and adding coffee to chocolate cake intensifies the chocolate flavor without tasting coffee-ish.

Agree on beer, another thing I really don't like much, except an occasional Heineken.

Drink tea. And so many restaurants give me a paper cup of lukewarm water and a teabag, makes me crazy.
