QUOTE

The Charlotte Observer reported Wednesday that the Nets offered their first round pick to the Bobcats for former lottery pick Sean May...but Charlotte turned them down. According to the Observer, the 'Cats while unhappy with May's conditioning and record of injuries, weren't willing to "give him away". The Nets were interested in taking May, a 6'-10" power forward from North Carolina, in the 2005 draft but the Bobcats beat them to it. Draft Express reported the Nets had offered the pick and Boki Nachbar.

    Taken off Netsdaily.

Personally would be sad to see Boki go, but would assumed the Nets would had resigned House.

I'm under the impression that May's knee is in really bad shape.

    I don't understand this deal.

    Saves $$$

Resign House to fill Boki's role, May would mean no need to spend the MLE.

It is easy to understand once you understand that Thorn makes a lot of mistakes

Michael Jordan's a fool, Thorn was obviously on the crack pipe. Offering a 1st rounder in a really good draft class and a young, improving player in Nachbar all for a bum kneed Sean May who hasnt played more than 40 games a season since being drafted.

A pick for May is better then a pick and Boki for May...but either way I'm not too big of a fan of the deal.
