Wooooooowww. I thought that game versus Kansas was over. And then again I thought it was over. We kept pulling back though, and Acie f*cking ended it. That was just an incredible game. I think the biggest keys were that we kept their 3pt% low (33%) and kept our bigs in despite foul trouble. I am so pumped about this win. It was more important than the texas vs. OSU game, even though it won't get as much attention.
I caught the 2nd half, and Acie was huge, hit big shot after big shot. This kid is definitely going to be a good player in the NBA. I love his game and his attitude.
That's my man right there. I made a thread about him in the Draft Prospects section a while ago. He's my sleeper of the first round right there. He's a projected late first round pick, but the kid can play. He's going to make whoever drafts him pretty happy. He's just so solid, he does a little bit of everything well, and he always comes up big when his team needs him most. In his draft profile I made (me and BCB do them, will be released soon), I compared him to Eric Snow. He'll never absolutely wow you with his numbers, but he'll always be that solid veteran point guard that any coach would love to have on his team. He'll be in the NBA for a long time.
If you're comparing him to Eric Snow CB, then he will probably become a 2nd round draft pick, if even drafted.
I personally think he will be better than Snow, but I see the comparison you're making. He usually plays within himself, and like you said, doesn't do any one thing spectacularly. I love the way the kid plays, and the passion he plays with, and that will definitely make him into a very respectable NBA player.
I agree that he will never wow you with his numbers, but I think the numbers can be deceptive. Our opponents have only scored over 70 twice this year... the games are so slow usually, and the ball gets in everybody's hands. God, I'd love to see him as a Maverick. The two teams play pretty similarly...
I thought it was over too, but A&M slowly made their comeback. It was an awesome game to watch, and I love the poise, and passion in Acie Law, he's a hell of a player. I see Acie as a stronger all-around Eric Snow, he'll be a real nice pick on when the draft rolls around. He does look alot like Quincy Douby haha..
I fell asleep because I thought Kansas had the game wrapped up for sure...well, looks like I missed an awesome ending!Congrats to the Aggies on a signature win!

Eric Snow was a good point guard. He was a starter and he has always been a great veteran presence. Are you saying that any player that is ever compared to Ben Wallace is going to be undrafted, because Ben was? Law will be a first round pick, and if he isn't he'll be a COMPLETE STEAL in the second round. He'll always be that heady point guard that any team would like to have and he'll be in the league for a long time.
