One good play by the Blazers tonight. Plum down low on left block with ball up high, CJ coming to the rim from the right high wing. Catches the ball in stride and lays it in while all head swivel backward. It looked like fine team work, like Sloan might have drawn it up.

Sigh! Every thing else was swing the ball and shoot, or isolation. That is first round and done stuff.

Did anyone catch Westbrook calling Leonard a "sorry ass"

Leonard hit his next two threes after that.

No I didn't. Your somewhat talented for discovering that. I hope you got compensated in monetary value for that.

Btw Westbrook is so overrated. Always has been. Most the plays he makes is on talent alone. I know he has to put up crazy shots this season because he's by himself, but his shot selection has always been stupid. Lillard usually always outplays him when they matchup and he does it without shooting air guns after every made three and screaming and 1 after every drive to the basket.

While I certainly appreciate the fact that in spite of the officiating we still kicked their ass comfortably, the jackasses in stripes were particularly worthless tonight. Refusing two call the 2-3 obvious delay of games against Russell, somehow letting the Thunder go the whole 3rd quarter without being whistled for a foul, not realizing Kantner forgets about that whole dribbling thing, etc. So bad.

Dame's 3pt shot is in the toilet right now. 36.4%?

Dude needs to curb those pullup 35 footers until he's hot. I'm happy his FG% is still above 45% tho.

Westbrook is to Dame as Dame is to Chris Paul

Much ado about nothing. Russ trying to be a dick while Dame doesn't get bothered and plays a heady/controlled game. Westbrook's shenanigans look so immature when he's on the same court with Dame.

27.6% is bad no matter what. It's worse if you don't include his first game

Down to 36.4 on the season. 30.3% (12-33) over the past 4 games. Is that in the toilet?

CJ is a top 5 SG and they're aren't a lot of good SGs in this league.

Considering his raw shooting ability, it absolutely is. His shot selection from 3 leaves a lot to be desired.

He was a solid 47% FG and 35% 3P over the course of November, but he's O-for-December in 2 games played. Perhaps he's starting to feel the strain of NBA travel.

    Give him time.

    Crapateedle!

I must be very tired. I went out like a light on the couch around 8 PM, woke up 11:30, game over, all the lights on, two kittens on top of me. Put away knitting, put kittens to bed, plugged in phone, hit the sack. Game over. Maybe NBA TV will replay it.
