Great album.</div>yeah, what's going on between him and Atlantic right now?....He's been signed with them for five years and hasn't made a record with them yet. :dunno: I still don't know why he turned down Interscope's deal, but I'm happy he did since signing with interscope has a tendency to make good rappers lose all lyrical ability [IMG]

Rakim - Top of the line. Brought more technical rhyme flow innovations, delivery, and complex lyrics to the table than any rapper before him. It took rappers years to even get close to catching up. Two eras of rap: Before Rakim and after.Nas - If you don't know...In 93, "The Source" (back when the magazine still had some integrity) called Nas the second coming of Rakim.Eminem - The brilliant white boy is hard to handle. He's a rare throwback rapper with battle skiils as tremendous as his writing abilities. If he was black he would probably have been overlooked though. Pac - Relied on emotion and voice more than sharp lyrics. But nobody could rhyme about so many scenarios and topics as convincingly as Tupac. Coded messages, sex, systemic criticism, thuggery, his own death prophecies... His ambition almost created a religion to some.Ice T - I wanted to put Slick Rick or KRS in here. But neither were as courageous or consistent as Ice. He was so far ahead of the game. He put out four straight classic albums. Classics! He never bragged about being a crip. He called out Presidents by name. A gangster that could spit credibly about Iran-Contra as deftly as telling a tale about a heist or getting the party started. Unfortunately, his rhyme skills diminished as he grew in fame. Lyrically, he never topped his first album and by the time Bush ended his career in early 92, he was spent anyway.

How is he creative? I F*ck them hoes with all my stacks of cash, and repeat that line about 20 times but with subtle differences each time is a Lil Wayne song. Does he even write his own lyrics?

What Gillie the Kid says? if gillie the kid so good how come he's never made a hit song...you guys are the typical rumor gang...the ones who say "Let me take what I hear and run with it before I even think logically..." And I'm pretty sure those other rappers you named never talk about money and hoes...makes sense... :dunno:

Because Lil Wayne doesn't write his own lyrics, or does he? I didn't hear anything about Lil Wayne. I'm not a big rap fan, I don't like much mainstream rap. I'm just going based off of what I have heard of Lil Wayne, and it's terrible.

I made this song up a few weeks ago:"Bitches 'N Hoez"I like to F*** them bitches 'n hoezFu fu fu fu F*** them bitchez 'n hoezI like to F*** them bitches 'n hoezNiggaz can't handle dis' S***I got me some stacks that I be countin'Like the Count of Monte ChristoS*** look back and it's histO-rieI don't live in misO-rieYou see dem hoez I be fu*kin?I make it rain on dey lunches. When I say rain do I mean the monay?Na man don't even try callin' me phonay.I like to F*** them bitches 'n hoezFu fu fu fu F*** them bitchez 'n hoezI like to F*** them bitches 'n hoezNiggaz can't handle dis' S***Bam, add a beat to that, and that is Lil Wayne's next big hit. Totally meaningless and sh*tty lyrics where he just throws random lines and words around to make them rhyme. I made that up in literally 2 or 3 minutes.
