oh I know, I see it every time it happens. I was speaking in general terms, like the fact that it snows and you have to alter your life to work around it because of all the idiots out there. I actually grew up in the valley so I have been there through stuff like that as well. its just silly to me is all I am saying. nah I'm not my dad tellin stories lol so why walk when I can drive in it!? that's way more fun. I actually enjoy driving around in the snow and low traction situations, always gives me the giggles.
Yes, well. Or at least close to D&D. There are costumes. Leather. Whips. Your basement. And Mrs. HCP.
Exactly. I know a girl who got hit yesterday by a couple people in traffic, one of which drove away, and it took her 7 hours to get from Wilsonville to Vancouver.
Well, it's not like the snow was a surprise. They had been predicting it for at least 3-4 days. People still drive. I don't get it.
It was a pretty easy storm to figure out. You could see it slowly coming up from Eugene, then Salem. Oh, snow in Salem? I should leave before it gets to Wilsonville.
Sometimes you cant. When i worked for a CPA firm, they would laugh at you if you wanted to go home early and say no. It just was not accepted whatsoever.
Frankly, I think you should be able to bill the company for the time you spend sitting in the car if they make you stay.
It happens often. Usually people end up staying at a CPA firm for 2-5 years after college then go elsewhere (unless they are on the fast track to partner). Most end up at private companies, govt entities or open their own business.
