Robin Lopez’s four blocked shots against Minnesota on Tuesday brought his season average to 2.00. He is one of six players in the league to average at least 2.00 blocks per game this season. He has averaged 2.6 blocks per game over his last five contests. The Timberwolves made more free throws than the Bulls on Tuesday, 17 to 14, but that was only the fourth time this season Chicago has suffered a negative differential in free throw makes (1-3 through those games). Four is the fewest such games in the NBA this season. The Bulls were out-rebounded by the Wolves on Dec. 13, 49 to 42, which is also a rare occurrence. That has happened only six times to Chicago this season (1-5 through those games), which is the second-fewest such games in the league (Denver, four).
