    So that I can understand the point of the post, is the implication here that because Miller agrees with a white supremacist's views on immigration and multiculturalism, that makes him a bad guy?

    For me personally, I'll give Trump some credit for at least getting Elon Musk somewhat involved in his upcoming term(s). Writing Musk in on my ballot was actually something I seriously considered as an alternative to the two parties' dumpster fires.

    I bet if they asked Ted Nugent, he'd play at the Inauguration. Wang dang Trump tang!!!! The Nuge as an ambassador makes as much sense as some of his cabinet picks.......

    "Somewhat involved"? So far he's about as involved as Al Gore.

    And this "two party dumpster fire" is the true Trump victory. The fact that a 6-time bankrupt pathological lying reality TV star is seen as somehow on a par with a career politician who was one of the more respected secretaries of state and a very popular senator for one of the most populous states in the country is a sign of an incredibly successful propaganda campaign.

    But back to Musk. This idea that Musk, because he's an innovator in the tech sector, would make a good president, is a little bit crazy. Why do we think that success in one field translates to a completely different one? We see this all the time with the "he's a good businessman, and that's who we need in charge" (of course, Trump isn't even a good businessman) but government is nothing like business, particularly not the way businesses are run on a large scale where you can screw over the workforce so long as you make a profit for your investors.

    Somehow Trump voters seems surprised that because they took a giant flaming asshole buffoon seriously as a candidate that we (speaking for the actual majority of voters) don't. No, somehow we were paying attention when he revealed himself to about as unqualified for the office as anyone could possibly be. It truly is remarkable and scary to see cognitive dissonance on such a massive scale. If you had Trump as your boss you'd be looking for another job as fast as possible. But you voted for him TO RUN THE COUNTRY.

    Griping about the popular vote? Get over it.

    What an outrage: On Sunday, the National Football League awarded the Tennessee Titans a win over the Denver Broncos because they scored more points, even though the Broncos got more total yards than the Titans.

    Of course, this is a ridiculous complaint — but not much more ridiculous than the gripes we’re hearing about the fact that Donald Trump is president-elect even though Hillary Clinton got 48.2 percent of the total votes cast vs. 46.1 percent for Trump.

    Her 2.8 million popular-vote margin is one of the largest for the electoral-college loser in American history, or will be, once the electoral votes are officially cast on Monday. Still, it is fallacious to invoke this statistical byproduct of Nov. 8 to question the legitimacy of Trump’s victory — as opposed to that victory’s desirability, which is questionable indeed.

    Al Gore? You mean the former VP? I don't really understand that comparison, but okay.

    I never said either were on par with one another but it has been said by many (and polls have backed it up) that both candidates were seen as unfavorable. We are going to disagree about the respect former SOS Clinton deserves, so I really don't wanna go down that road with ya man.

    Success breeds success, and Musk has had plenty of that. Would he be a good President? I honestly have no idea. My reasoning was that he is one of the more intelligent individuals around. After he left Paypal, do you think he knew everything there was to know about building a rocket? How about an electric car? Neither of those are in the Tech Sector, mind you, but he learned. My point here is that he is an innovator willing to take on challenges that others aren't. And as far as screwing over a workforce, yeah government does that shit too bro. Usually it is due to different reasons though i.e. incompetence.

    If you listened to him actually... He said he didn't need to see them daily right now unless they have changed from the previous day's briefing and then yes he eluded to being smart enough to know when he would need to address them.

    Honestly I don't see a problem w/it right now, he isn't in a position of power to do anything and he drastically wants to change the way we do business around the world, so once our lame duck president GTFO I would then expect him to handle briefings, etc, on a more rapid pace.

    The trouble many presidents have had is finding people they can trust.

    For example, Lincoln went through many generals before finding Grant. The war was being fought in the North before that (Gettysburg, etc.).
