That belongs to Marv Albert-reggie Miller-steve Kerr. Mason is the public address announcer and I like him even though I'm not a piston fan he gets everyone pumped up I'm glad hes there.
JOHN MASON?!? That's the sweetest news I've heard in quite some time. Fans across the league, if you have watched the 2004 or 2005 NBA Finals, you know what's coming, but for those that don't know who Mason is, you are in for a treat. This guy is by far the most comical and the most charismatic public address announcer in the history of the game. I guarantee that everyone will love him.

Hmm, I must be the only person that doesn't like this guy. To be one of these guys you just have to have a really bad speech impediment. All you have to do is carry out your words really long.Atleast its not that little kid anymore
Mason is awesome. The Warriors guy totally copied his phrase "Get on your feet, to meet and greet, your......."
I personally don't like this guy either I'm a Spurs fan and when they played the Pistons in the finals his voice really annoyed me while they were playing over there. After anything the Pistons did good he would say "Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetroiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittttttttttttttttt basketbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaall.

I remember how funny it was listening to the Lakers PA announcer calmly say stuff like, "3 pointer Kobe Bryant." Then two nights later hearing this guy, "Chaaaaaaaaaaunceeeeeey B-B-B-Billups!!!"
It looks like other PA announcers are trying to copy Mason. He is a great PA announcer and enjoys what he's doing. I would like to see how he introduces all of the players. I would have to say that the Lakers Pa Announcer is very boring. He's just monotone.

I believe it was game 2 of the 05 finals after being monotone and sounding like the Visine guy, he tried to spice it up a bit and his voice started cracking like he was going through puberty. I was sitting there like oh my lord :\Anywho I'm glad Mason will be doing the player annoucements, I'm kind of excited now. It really would be hilarious if he broke out with a "Deeetroit Basketbaaaall".
