It's just one game, but it soothes a lot of doubts for me. It looked like the team was on the brink of tuning out their coach and repeating the shenanigans from last year. Of course the team has shown it's capable of winning big in the past, but it needs to string together strong wins consecutively. We can't go into hibernation until the season looks like it's on the brink of being lost before we bring our A-game again. Decent bench play really soothes a lot of this team's rough spots. When they have good games that means we tend to shoot well from 3 point range since most of them are shooters. And our starting lineup is probably top 7-10, but Wade and Jimmy aren't enough to will a team to victory when the bottom half of the roster disappears. At least not consistently. With a decent bench we can probably sniff 50 wins, but without it it'd probably be difficult to get very far above 0.500.
