What if the Warriors had this mindset when they were rebuilding and traded away either Steph and Klay? I'm not saying you are wrong thinking we need to make some moves to retool this team. I'm just saying that there probably plenty of options that allow us to keep both CJ and Dame.

That wasn't the scenario though. They traded Monta and that made room for Thompson.
We need to trade one of them, so an oversized two way SG can fill that spot and id rather have okay shooting with elite D than okay D with elite shooting... as long as Dame or CJ are at point, that really is a large part of the solution.
Rim protectors wont be as big of an issue for us if we can keep the guards out on the perimeter.

Uhhhh, they DID have that mindset when they had Steph and ELLIS, who are much more similar than Steph and Klay. Ellis = CJ. Klay =/= CJ.

Lillard is fairly clearly the superior player between he and CJ.

    The winning streak starts Monday!

No way the Blazers can lose with all the positive energy and karma the RipCityTwo Forum members are going to bring to that game.

Our positive energy will lift the Blazers to victory over the Raptors!

    Yeah. Feel the love!

Preach the gospel Brother Bailey. There were many in the Bay that were totally against moving either Steph or Monta and at the time, Monta was the better player. But like Dame/CJ, they were both smallish, ball dominant, no-defense guards and the GM made the tough call that changed the course of their franchise.

Your two team leaders CAN NOT both only play on one side of the ball. End of story.

All we need to do is trade Turner for Hendo, sign Kaman, and re-hire the Mikes and we are golden.

Don't you generally tank to get younger and more talent? We are young as shit and have a lot of talent, the only area where we lack talent in is the front court.

You expect a team to be deep everywhere? Name one team in the league not named Cleveland/GS that is "Deep" at every position or even 4 out of 5 positions. We lack front court depth so tanking more isn't going to help that unless you can guarantee us a top 3 pick and there is in the same category as KAT. A pick in the 10-15 is going to be a rotation player if we are lucky.
If you consider Harkless/Aminu stretch 4's then its really only a solid center we lack.
