I really like Stotts and think he's a great guy but you gotta shit can his ass. And also trade anyone on this team except dame. (And I don't even think dame is that great)

Guys. I've been a Jets fan for over 20 friggin' years and the Blazers remind me a lot the way they have played. It's called..... "We Don't Give a Fuck." or "Playin' For a Paycheck And That's It."

I think their confidence is shaken. Last year they had the "eye of the tiger", because they were out to prove everyone wrong. Now they've lost their edge a bit. But really, they are simply not that good, just very well paid thanks to Neil Olshey.

I didn't even watch the game tonight, but I can imagine their post game comments. "We have to play with more heart yadda yadda yaddda".......boring.

Well they obviously feel like they've found their level. I think all those blowouts have really hurt their psyche. That's for sure. But I agree with Stotts, sometimes the effort just isn't there.

There's a flip-side to this too. Last year no one really saw them coming, so they probably didn't get everyone's best shot. This year, they put a little bit more of a bulls-eye on their back.

This team is not relevant enough to have a "bulls-eye". Though I'm sure teams get excited to play them, because it's a chance to improve their scoring statistics.

They made it to the playoffs and then they got a little bit lucky and made it to the second round. I'm not saying teams are fired up to play them, but I do think whatever minor amount of "sneaking up" on other teams they might have done last year is right out the window.

Remember how bad I got at the start of the year? I'm just numb now. It's kinda nice. No Tunchi helps.

Something's gonna happen. It'll be interesting.

They make me think of a little kid whose big brother is sitting on their chest and slapping them with their own hand, repeatedly saying, "Stop hitting yourself. Stop hitting yourself." Maybe they'll get tired of being bullied and show a little bit of fire and win 3? It's not unreasonable.

It's like the entire team needs to get raged out on steroids.

They'll be heavy underdogs against the Raptors, Spurs and Warriors and essentially pick'ems against the Kings and Wolves. That would put their expected wins around 1, though 2 wins isn't terribly unlikely.

See. We should have never gotten rid of the Beavers. They'd at least be able to help us cover that shit up.

Just got back from the game. Wow. I've been a season ticket holder for many years. The play of the Blazer of late has really killed the crowd. Although the stands were pretty filled, it was dead tonight.

Yes, the Spurs are a better team than the Blazers. But the Blazers simply didn't didn't put in the effort they needed tonight - or the last 10 games for that matter.

I'm still excited about this Blazer team. Dame and CJ are fun to watch. But after that, we have a team made up of mediocre talent. We just don't have enough top level players to compete at a high level.

At this point I'm not too worried about the Wins and Losses. I just don't want to see any more of these 20 point (or 45 point) blowouts. I want to see some of the young talent come out hungry and show some development this year.

I mean, that sounds good, but just think of the anger on this forum when, after multiple championships, Lillard, McCollum and Plumlee are kept out of the Hall of Fame by voters over the steroid issue.

I wasn't able to watch the game. Does anyone know why Davis played so little? Was it sending him a message about lack of effort or are they getting serious about showcasing Leonard and Vonleh? (I noticed we got out-rebounded pretty bad.)

Game thread pages are getting less and less. equates to less and less interest?

They need to turn something around quick before all they have left are us few hard core zeros in their corner.
Looks like the fair weather fans are starting to flock elsewhere...
