I really blame this loss on the coach....Popovich. How silly of him to only sit Gasol, Parker and Ginobili. If he wanted a competitive game, he needed to sit Kawhi Leonard and Aldridge as well. Then we would have given them a real run for their money.

It would be nice to have a star that plays both ends of the floor like Kawhi....heck, even Mills. Kawhi takes defense personally and Patty Mills on ball defense on Lillard forced some TURBLE shots from Dame. The difference in scheme, approach and attitude is night and day.

    Sad...very sad.

There are plenty of fans out there. I usually don't post in the game threads because of the hair trigger posts criticizing everything. It can be overwhelming.

Besides, I enjoy watching a game while eating some tasty cuisine with friends and family.

Not sure if there are less fans now, it's just come to the point of it's the same, lackluster effort night after night. The Clipper game was a departure from that (even in a loss) but other than that, the last couple of weeks have been brutal. My basketball coach would have had me running suicides till I puked if we gave this effort.

Banning negative trolls definitely shortens threads of games in which the Blazers are stinking up the joint. (And I'm not talking about skunk weed)

Sorry Denny. It's for the greater good.

Instead, Stotts has been keeping his normal schedule with days off and not requiring extra sessions to work on defensive schemes. This is not a team that's acting like it understands how truly bad the situation has become.

I am the same. I don't post in them either, But check out the 30-40 page game threads earlier in the year compared to these 15-20 pagers. just an observation and I correlate it to frustration of the fans.

Maybe a correlation to a small segment of Blazer fans. However, I wouldn't use that as an indicator for much of anything unless it pertained to that small segment of Blazers fans.

The Blazers constantly getting blown out or otherwise losing in disappointing fashion keeps the threads shorter. Last season, when we had more intense games and made more exciting plays that meant something, you'd have nearly an entire page of posts cheering for a single dunk. When's the last time we had half a page of people simply posting "DAME TIME" or whatever for a big shot by Dame? There's none of that now. All that's left is the criticism, and even that is getting old because the Blazers keep doing the same old shit.

I think everybody has lost hope at this point honestly. Don't know what last season was about but this season the fans try to get into some games but it's just not the same. I'm honestly looking into next season at this point

Posting in the game threads feels a little bit like waking up in Groundhog Day in the middle bit where Bill Murray was dropping toasters in the bathtub.

People are running out of ways to call out the team's shit effort.

I've pretty much given up on the game threads although we had a decent thread the other day for a change...good or bad, I want to enjoy a ballgame without angry heckling...after the game...I'll talk about why we suck..there's no lack of threads to do that.

    What do you say guys:
    Kawai for Lillard,Crabbe and Leonard?

    Would the Spurs even consider?

    I think it's worth offering.

Pops ain't going to trade one of the league's best defensive players for 3 guys who can't even spell defense.

Also he wouldn't want to put up with the LaMaracia's epic pout fest because he's back on the same team with Lillard.

Pops: "We play defense first and foremost here in San Antonio. Defense wins championships."

Lillard: "I play sick beats and rap over them."

Pops: "I knew I should have retired when Timmy did."
