If Jones can take over on the boards, or at least limit Durant's talent, we'll be much better off. Defense has been the key for the Ags this year, but we allowed a ton of offensive boards against Kansas. That may be the key against texas.</span> Justice's Extra Thoughts/NotesTexas A&M is coming off a big win at Kansas. It was not only A&M's first win at Phog Allen Fieldhouse, but the first win for any team from the Big 12 South. texas is coming off a tough loss against KSU at home. Let me tell you something, though. If I could give a number on how much those games matter, it would be a big fat goose egg. Both teams will be playing their hardest. This is a huge school rivalry. texas will be playing their hardest as will the Ags with a packed Reed Arena. Justice's PredictionI think it will be very close. Last year at home, Acie hit a 3 to win it by 1 at the buzzer. I don't know if it will be that close, but I have no doubts that texas will work their asses off. A&M does have a 20 game winning streak at home though, which bodes well for the Aggies. I have to go with the home team, but texas is the only team from the Big 12 aside from Kansas that I fear could beat us at Reed.
Acie Law and Kevin Durant should put on quite a show tonight. I know I'll be watching. Hopefully its close, if it is I can't wait to see those two play down the stretch.
Good write-up Justice. You gonna be at the game since its in College Station? I'm more of a Texas fan than an A&M fan, but I'm not one of those that just hates them. Should be a great matchup. This really should be the hardest competion for Durant this season. Yes he got 37 and 24 here in Lubbock, but it was against Tech. Yes he played very great against Okla St., but they still arent as good as A&M is. I could defanitly see this game going down the wire and even into OT. I'd give the edge to A&M in this one, but should be damn good.
This could be another great game involving TexasI want Texas to win because Durant's my 2nd favorite college player (Jared Dudley is #1)

Basically the ticket booth is connected to Kyle Field, and nearby they have an underground passage (it goes under the street) that connects to the other side of campus. Anyway, people were allowed to set up tent around 11 pm Wednesday. I considered going, but just was like meh. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to go to the game. I'm just not one of those people who likes to spend tons of time, money, and effort to do things. It doesn't end there though. The cops decided to break it up for some reason... it was a mess, people were cutting in line, and it just wasn't going to work (this isn't the first time they've had trouble with stuff like this). So instead they had a lottery for the tickets. I didn't win one. Then a bunch of people didn't pick up their ticket, so they gave them to the people who had been to the most games. I was not among those people, so oh well! I don't mind watching it on tv anyway, I get less distracted.

OMG I've been dying for this game all day. It should be a great matchup and I'm so excited I can watch Durant again since I haven't been able to since Christmas break. I'm expecting a big show from him tonight.
I'm totally watching this game...anytime my guy is on TV I watch. Should be good, I have not had a chance to see Acie Law and Joseph Jones play yet, looking forward to it. I got my Texas shirt and my texas bball shorts on baby, I'm ready.

I wish I went to Texas or A&M(not Tech though) so I could see some better games. Texas and A&M get better matchups outside conference than Tech does even though Tech has Bobby Knight.
I want Texas A&M to win, but Durant is just amazing so I'm lookin forward to see Durant, Augestine, and Law go at it, amongst other stars.
DUDE!!!!!! This game is gonna be sick. If I had to bet on this game, I would probably go with Texas A&M, but im not, so go Texas! Durant is going to have to have a huge game...He is really going to need to shoot well from 3 point range. I think that if he can, Texas is going to have a good chance to win. If he can take Joseph Jones to the perimeter and score efficently, its over. I think that Acie Law and DJ Augustine is going to be a great matchup as well. IMO, one of the best freshman point guards in the game, against a predicted first rounder. This game is going to be crazy. The A&M stadium is a hard place to play at, and their defense is the best in the nation. This game should be great. I am predicting Durant to go HUGE and get 44 and 17. I dont care how good thier defense is, Durant is better.
I can't wait. This will be awesome, Durant, Law, Augastin, Jones..4 big time players right there..I can definitely see an upset too!! wooo
A&M plays some great defense, they are harrassing Durant everytime he touches the ball. Acie Law needed some more touches towards the end of the 1st half, he was on fire when the ball was in his hands - 16 points, 8 assists? Durant just needs to get the ball more, and he'll make things happen. I think DJ Augastin is looking for his shot a little more, than trying to get it into Durant, or finding the open guy - no doubt he can pass though. Well good 1st half, Texas A&M looks great, and it must be tough to play there - so loud, and the fans are crazy. LETS GO DURANTTTTTTT
