    Has anyone had the experience of wishing someone something like "happy holidays" only to get a frown and the response "you mean, MERRY CHRISTMAS!"?
    This happened to my wife the other day. (You Portlanders are probably insulated from this kind of thing.) There's nothing that makes you merrier than forced merriment!

    Saying Merry Christmas to people out in the open feels like a secret handshake almost. When someone says it back you're like "ya....right on! You in da club..." then when some dip shit comes back with "happy holidays" you know... hes some leftist cuck not wanting to "offend".
