    If you watch Smokey and the Bandit the movie was about them smuggling Coors beer into their state because it couldn't be sold there. I believe it's because Coors isn't pasteurized.

    You really only have to pasteurize dairy and alcoholic drinks. Mostly pure water, like Coors, can simply be boiled.

    I remember as a kid, many trips to Cali for vacation. Think we'd head home with a trunk full of souvineers??? Nope. Dad always had it stuffed full of Coors....

    Whelp, I'm most likely going to have to call into work tomorrow morning... and even if I don't... I should probably rest as much as possible. I'm not 100% and don't want to get anyone sick. If it's possible for someone to take my spot, by all means.

    I would love to - but I'll be lucky to go to bed by 3 am.. and get very little sleep. With a 2 hour bus ride to Portland along with work (If I do) and being sick... I just have a feeling I'd be miserable and also could pass it to one of you guys. I mean, if you guys make me a bubble boy... I could reconsider.

    And I also need rest - I've literally laid in bed since I got home from work Christmas Eve and it's only marginally better. My body hurts from the abundant coughing... with the body aches. It's a fun time right now. lol.

    I'm annoyed because I've been looking forward to this since I knew... and now I won't be able to meet someone more famous than Travis Outlaw. :(

    I wish I had a place to stay. I just moved into a new apartment and I'm not sure how my roommate feels about people on the couch, since he has his kid over sometimes. I haven't been there long enough to feel that out.

    In the 60s everyone that graduated high school and turned 18 drove to Colorado to buy Coors....not because we like the beer but because the drinking age there was 18....it was a right of passage in the midwest

    When I got out of the navy and went to college in Sioux City Iowa there were 3 drinking ages in the city which is in 3 different states...you could be on a corner and go into a bar on one side of the street and not the other...South Dakota Sioux City....18, Iowan Sioux City 21, Nebraskan Sioux City 20...probably changed now.
