Uh, okay, he does need to prioritized for more important things than national security I supposed... like working in an important photo op and discussion about Chicago water with blond Kanye right after he's let out of the loony bin.

Everyone is bitching he is going to start WW3 and now when he can't do jack shit about it he is supposed to waste his time getting the same briefing over and over. He can't tell Pence to handle the daily shit and be informed if something changes?

This is what people bitch about, really?

You people sound like 5 year olds that ask if we're there yet every five minutes while we're driving to Disneyland.

What are you talking about WW3? You are literally making shit up that has nothing to do with what I wrote, however - you voted in President Trump, not President Pence... it's his job. I don't care if it is 2 weeks, 2 months, or 2 years to his start date, this is one of, if not the most powerful jobs in the universe and should be all consuming for anyone who is elected to this position no matter who they are.

You sound like a 5 year old who hasn't learned to read yet.

He should take it seriously. But he heard the report several times and it didn't change. Same shit, different day. It's a waste of his time at this point.

He's got what, 4 or 5 generals in his administration. They might know a thing or two about our security.

    I didn't vote for Trump.

I'm seriously hoping he does the winning type deals and leaves people (Muslims, Mexicans) alone. And hoping the doesn't set dozens of countries aflame like his predecessor.

You're being sarcastic because he isn't doing what YOU think is important. I want one way him skipping these briefings hurt you or puts you in jeopardy.

I mentioned PEOPLE as a whole being worried he has his finger on the button. You're being deliberately obtuse.

    I googled that cuz I can't read.

Sarcastic, sure! It's my middle name. I didn't say anything about him putting me in jeopardy. I admit it's odd to me that a person would vote for a Trump presidency and then be fine with Mike Pence doing the daily part of his job, but that's your right. In my experience, when you get a new job you want to get to know your new co-workers and assistants (such as the folks who do the national security briefings) to gain trust and build a working relationship.

Obtuse? I don't think so. You quoted a post from me (not "PEOPLE" big huge letters!!!!!!!!!) and continue to add bizarre tidbits into your response quoting my post that have nothing to do with what I said.

Damn, is that coming across as butt hurt? Gosh darnit, I hope not, because it really stings when you classy Trump supporters throw that out there over and over again when someone questions this buffoon.

Pence's Influence Likely to Be Limited as VP

“I sure don’t get where Mike Pence’s influence matters,” said the source, “other than, that meeting happened because he said it should happen.”

If some of Trump's skeptics have pinned their hopes on his VP, they might find themselves disappointed. Pence’s approach to the vice presidency, while still percolating, so far suggests a role of modest influence.

Some Republicans have speculated that Pence, a longtime elected official with deep connections in the capital, would guide Trump through the wilds of Washington — and in the process, exert outsized power for a vice president. But Pence’s style has so far suggested a quieter, less influential approach. And it remains to be seen whether Trump is inclined to delegate authority to a number two anyway.

You suggested Pence would be doing the every day job.

So far, Pence is hardly heard from. It's Priebus whose job it is to do the every day detail work.

It sounds so level headed until you get to the end and can't resist throwing in the word buffoon. I think that is where the butthurt part shows up. Oh yeah, the classy Trump supporters part is just proving your lack of butthurt. Yep, not butthurt at all.

Nope, incorrect, I said nothing of the sort... I suggested bodyman5000 posted that he's okay with Pence being the gatekeeper.

    You write this:

" I admit it's odd to me that a person would vote for a Trump presidency and then be fine with Mike Pence doing the daily part of his job"

What did you mean by "Mike Pence doing the daily part of his job" ?

Read the sentence again, including my reference to the fact that this is another person's opinion written in a post by that other person, and get back to me.

Let me see if I can translate it for you. "I admit it's odd to me that Bodyman would vote for Trump and be fine with Mike Pence doing the job of President."
