This is the correct response. To even think of trading the best thing this franchise has ever had since Clyde Drexler is asinine at this point in time.

Cleveland doesn't. And Golden State is an anomaly super team.

Lebron can score 20.....Love can.....Irving can..JR Smith can...Channing Frye can....I should have said double figures but my point is....you need more than 2 guys who can light it up to contend.

I would consider it for nothing less than someone like Paul George or Anthony Davis. Or something like Joel Embiid, PHI's 2017 pick, LAL's 2017 pick, and SAC's 2019 unprotected pick.

    So no.

Harkless scores about as much per game as JR Smith and if Channing Frye qualifies as a guy that can light it up then we have at least 3...

No trade should ever be off the table, but I have serious doubts we'd ever get a return that would be 1-for-1 in terms of talent.

So all I can say is "yes, but ..."

    MEH!

I know I will get some hate for this and let me start of by dsaying Roy was a great player who was short lived and might have become a tp 20 ever if his carreer would have had the longevity required.

    WITH THAT SAID.....

This top ten is boring. Half of them are 3 pt shots near the line. Dame has plenty of these that stretch to half court.
Roy brought Portland back from down 23 to win a playoff game against Dallas, but they lost the series right?
    Dame... umm .9?

    Nuff said?

You've used this line before. You need to get some new material.

Dame is a superstar. He wants to be here. He embraced the city. If we trade him, good luck finding anyone else of his caliber to come to and stay in Portland.

    Sanity among the madness.

This losing streak is eye opening.

    @yuyuza1
I 100% agree and it has nothing to do with getting equal value back.
It has to do with the next franchise player we want/have/get and how loyal he will think the franchise is to him.
If we trade Dame now, no one will ever want to be the face of us.

I think you have common sense. You would welcome a trade if it was actually for our benefit correct? Meaning a trade involving CJ or a combo of our role players?
Or do you think this team as is can improve with a couple small tweaks?

I think Im mostly with you. We need a few tweaks, but unless we are on the better end of a major trade, don't do it. Correct?
